Down the bag rabbit hole and came out the other side with a nebula for EDC - Mini review

Throwing it out there I’m not a professional reviewer or anything, I just use Reddit to talk about stuff I like.

I have gone down a huge rabbit hole recently and came very close to spending a lot of money on either a GORUCK, Yeti or Evergoods backpack. Looking for that perfect buy it for life bag. Unfortunately dropping that cash is not really a good idea at the moment as I have had some big expenses this month, luckily I just got a voucher from a local outdoor shop as I returned my Fjallraven skule after the inside delaminated and the bottom was showing some small holes.

I have never been a big fan of osprey, not really sure why, but I guess I thought the materials looked cheap and most people use them. Call it main character syndrome or something and needed to have something different from the crowds.

Yesterday I received my nebula and boy was I wrong about the materials! Not a single loose thread. This thing feels way better than the skule, incredibly lightweight from my old military style backpacks and has some great organisation. Allowing me to give all my daily items little homes. The straps allow this bag to be squished down to a more appropriate size for EDC.

So far I’m keeping the middle section free for work clothes and lunch and rested it out on a 5 mile walk which was comfortable and didn’t give me and pain, something I have been experiencing recently with the Fjallraven singi 28.

Anyway, I’ve been sleeping on Osprey and hoping this will be a durable little (ish) companion for many years to come. For the price I am still very happy and kinda embarrassed that I was considering other such expensive purchases at this time in my life.
