Allergy-friendly Scottish Food Recommendations

I want to show my boyfriend how delicious Scottish food is. Unfortunately, he is allergic to dairy (not just lactose-intolerant), eggs, and tree nuts (peanuts and coconut are okay). I’ve seen some vegan pie, pasty, and haggis options. But I would love to find options that have meat as well since he can eat meat and so many Scottish dishes are meat-based.

Does anyone have recommendations? Thank you!

Where to find porcini mushrooms

I’m looking for porcini mushrooms. Costco has a dried mushroom medley but they don’t sell just porcini mushrooms. I went to Whole Foods and the employee I asked said they don’t carry porcini mushrooms. I haven’t seen them at Russ’s or Super Saver either.

Does anyone know if there’s a grocery store that carries fresh, frozen, or dried porcini mushrooms? Thank you!

Is my plumeria big enough to fertilize? Which fertilizer should I start with?

I’ve read conflicting information about fertilizing plumeria. I’ve had this cutting for three months. It has roots and I recently repotted it. When is the best time to start fertilizing it and which fertilizer do you recommend? Some of the posts I’ve seen fertilize based on the age of the plant, the size of the leaves, the season, etc. I want to help my plumeria grow but I don’t want to force it and hurt it. Thank you!

Is my plumeria healthy?

I’ve had my plumeria cutting for three months. I repotted it this week in a mix of 2/3 Miracle Gro cactus soil and 1/3 perlite. I also watered it for the first time since everything I read said to wait until it has strong roots and big leaves to water. It does have nice roots that I saw when I switched pots. I’m growing it inside with 12 hours of full spectrum grow lights.

Is it healthy? The leaves are a darker green than they used to be. Also, the first leaf is flat but the new leaf is curled under. Is that a sign it needs something? More nutrients?
