My personal experience at Grand Velas Los Cabos

Okay I have to talk about Grand Velas Los Cabos because it genuinely wrecked my expectations for all-inclusives 🙌

I just got back and I’m still thinking about it. Like… this might be the best resort experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to over 70 all-inclusives at this point. Not exaggerating.

A few things that blew me away:
• The Wellness Suites (their boutique wing) — this is the move if you want that intimate, adults-only, “not a mega resort” feel but still want full access to everything. Smaller pool, quieter, insanely beautiful. Feels like its own private property.
The FOOD. Piaf and Cocina de Autor are not “good for all-inclusive,” they’re just straight up good, period. Chef-driven, next level.
The spa is one of the largest in Latin America and it’s built into the rock overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Sunset views from there are unreal 😍
Honestly the service is what got me the most — every single person on that property made you feel like the only guest there. That kind of attentiveness is rare even at high-end resorts.

Full transparency since I don’t want to just drop a glowing review and ghost: I’m a travel advisor, so this is a resort I book for clients a lot. Booking with me costs you nothing extra — generally I offer a lower price vs booking direct — and also you get added exclusive perks on top like spa credit, upgrades when available, welcome amenities, and me in your corner if anything needs handling while you’re there. I just genuinely love getting people to this resort because I know they’ll have the trip of their life.
