With the new Fortnite season coming up, we're seeing an increase in Sprite trading posts. Since our original Sprite Trading Megathread already has tons of comments, we're starting a fresh megathread to make things easier for everyone to find current trades and requests.

A quick reminder: Sprite trading posts made outside of the megathread will be removed. This helps keep the subreddit organized and prevents trading requests from taking over other posts.

Battle Bus Victory Royale

In some Battle Royale matches, a new Rift Anomaly will appear, sending the Battle Bus to a marked location as the Storm closes in. Get at least one teammate onto the Bus before it rifts away to earn a Battle Bus Victory Royale. 

Multiple teams can escape and win the same match, but miss your ride and it's game over, even if you’re the last squad standing! 

Gizmos

Sprite Locator: Spawns a nearby buried Chest containing a random Sprite to help you track down more for your collection as you play.

Extraction Site Booster: Use at an Extraction Site to call a boosted Extraction Crate that grants bonus Sprite Dust for any Sprite extracted there. Extraction Crates can also contain Shield Bubble Jr, Crash Pad Jr, Chug Splash or Friend Zone Bubble.

Gizmo Wheel UI: A new way to quickly swap between your different Gizmos inside each match

Gizmos can’t be traded or dropped when eliminated

New Weapons & Balance Adjustments

• NEW - Bank Shot Pistol: 
  • Ricochet your shots off walls, floors and surfaces to hit enemies from angles they’ll never see coming
• IN: Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle, Rapid Fire SMG
• OUT: Hunting Rifle, Flex SMG, Midas Flopper, Spicy Fish
• Ranger Pistol: 
  • Deals slightly less damage to players and structures
  • Slightly reduced headshot damage multiplier 
  • Has a slightly wider spread when aiming down sights 
  • Reloads slightly slower
• Surgical Burst Rifle: 
  • Reloads slightly faster
  • Has an improved spread when aiming down sights
  • Instead of being lower, Mythic variant now matches other variants’ fire rate
  • Mythic variant has an improved accuracy instead of a larger mag matching the weapon description

Produce Box Update

Every Produce Box now guarantees:

• One healing item
  • Uncommon Pepper (x3) - heals for 10 HP and grants a short movement speed boost, stacks up to 6
  • Uncommon Apple (x4) - heals for 15 HP and stacks up to 8 
  • Golden Apple - heals for 50 HP and applies low gravity effect, stacks up to 3
• Small Shield Potion
• Stack of ammo

Our community has been amazing by offering sprites to other community members - whether they are creating a post offering to help others, or responding to a post from someone requesting help. It has been awesome to see!

There has been A LOT of trading and the posts are getting excessive and clogging up other posts. To help alleviate this, we are implementing this megathread where all requests/offers for sprites will be posted. Posts outside of this thread will be removed.

When asking for or offering sprites and the transaction is complete, please cross out your post like this so that people know that that the sprite is no longer needed or being offered.

While trading sprites is currently allowed on the sub, but the sub is not responsible for these trades. Please trade at your own risk.

The Zero Point cracked the sky wide open, scrambling and reassembling the Island into the Shattered Coast: a fresh map dropping mid-chapter with twisted takes on familiar POIs, a totally fresh pool of firearms, and a whole new way to win. This Season it’s all about getting in, grabbing power-packing Sprites, and doing whatever it takes to extract them for the next match. Welcome to Fortnite: Runners.

THE NEW ISLAND

On the new Island you’ll wade through the crystalline shallows of Sunken Shores, fight your way up the Shattered Coast, and feel the Zero Point's pull at the center of it all. 

SPRITES: EXTRACT IT OR LOSE IT

In this new reality Sprites are diverse and coveted helpers, with each granting a special Sprite Power ability when equipped. Find a Sprite in a match, get to an Extraction Site, defend your pick up while the timer runs, and you’ll bank it to your Collection for use in future matches. Get eliminated before you bank your Sprite and it’ll be left on the battlefield for the next player to steal. 

Be quick to grab these if you find them:

Rare

• Earth Sprite — You have a chance to find additional rare items when opening chests
• Fire Sprite — Creates a fiery burst when you deal enough damage to an enemy
• Water Sprite — Replenish shield while in water for you and your nearby Squad

Epic

• Duck Sprite — Emoting or Jamming replenishes shields
• Ghost Sprite — Grants cloak for a duration upon reloading
• Demon Sprite — Siphon some health and shields when you eliminate an opponent
• King Sprite — Your Pickaxe deals more damage

Legendary

• Dream Sprite — Grants a random item at each level, exploding with legendary loot at Max Level
• Punk Sprite — Possibly nothing... or infinitely something

Mythic

• Zero Point Sprite — Spawn a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a healing item on yourself

Successful Extractions also earn you Sprite Dust, the currency that powers your Collection in future matches. Spend Sprite Dust at the start of any match to summon a Sprite you've already Extracted, equipping its Sprite Power before you drop from the bus. The rarer the Sprite, the more Dust it costs to summon. Sprite Dust can also be spent to upgrade your Sprite’s powers and loot. 

There are three key ways in which Sprites level up; exploration (finding and opening Chests), eliminations (downing and eliminating opponents) and by extraction (extracting Sprites). Getting a Sprite to max level is no easy feat, so we recommend attempting it across multiple runs, and if you extract a max-level Sprite - you will Master it! It is this Mastery that will unlock progression rewards as you play through the season.

Keep your eyes peeled for rare Special variants of Sprites with a (small) bonus effect available throughout the Season from daily drops to Power Hours and more! 

NEW EXTRACTION GIZMOS

There's no wrong way to extract a Sprite. New Gizmo consumable items will be available all season that give you quick ways to shortcut and supercharge your Sprite extractions. Play it safe, or create a high-risk, high-reward hotspot.

These new Gizmos, like the Golden Fireworks that debuted on Community Day, will start in your Pickaxe slot when you jump from the bus. Your Gizmo inventory will persist all season-long, but will expire when the season ends, though, so be sure to use 'em! 

• Portable Extractor: Extract your equipped Sprite from anywhere on the island. Perfect for that rare Sprite you've been searching for! 
• Lucky Locator (coming later this Season): Tracks down a buried Chest that’s guaranteed to have a Sprite you haven't collected.
• Extraction Site Booster (coming later this Season): Call in a special Extraction Crate that will boost any Sprite extracted at the site. This will get other players' attention!

 

Gizmos can’t be traded and dropped when eliminated, so no risk of losing one. You can earn more Gizmos by completing Bonus Goals quests, trading in Sprite Dust, and completing your Sprite Mastery progression!

LOCKED, LOADED, AND SLIDING

Four new weapons drop with v41.00, with more to come later in the Season:

• Extending Focus Shotgun: long range, barrel lengthens as spread tightens across a 3-round volley
• Surgical Burst Rifle: burst fire, low recoil, minimal damage falloff
• Chaos Exploder Rifle: the Dark Voyager's heavy AR, firing explosive cubes, especially nasty when playing around cover
• Lancehead Pistol: John Wick's sidearm, 21-round mag. Throw your magazine at nearby enemies when reloading for additional damage!

Later in the Season look out for the Bank Shot Pistol that bounce shots off surfaces to hit your target with a ricochet. Trickshot!

Joining them are two new movement items: Seven Sliders & Shock Rocks. 

Slide faster than your legs can carry you with Seven Sliders, ADS with your equipped weapon mid-slide to slow time for a clean shot, and let the jets launch you skyward. Shock Rocks arrive later this Season. Crush one to perform three midair leaps.

Returning to the loot pool: Striker Pump, Maven Auto Shotgun, Ranger Pistol, Stinger SMG, Hunting Rifle, and Chaos Reloader Shotgun. 

LATER THIS SEASON: BUS EXFIL

Later this Season, matches may end differently. There will be a small percentage chance that in some matches, the Battle Bus will rift back into the map, and you'll have a window to board it. Climb on, grapple up, get at least one teammate to the rift out point, and your team secures the Victory. Multiple teams can win this way per match!

NEW RANKED SEASON + REWARDS

Ranks have been reset and new Ranked rewards are waiting to be unlocked in Battle Royale:

• Gold: Cube's Creche Back Bling
• Platinum: Voyager's Suit Wrap
• Elite: Hatchets of Chaos Pickaxe
• Unreal: Axe of Unreal Pickaxe

This Season introduces the new Unreal Legends rank, for the true masters of Fortnite who reach Unreal, hold at least 2,500+ Skill Rating, and place in the Top 500 on the Unreal Leaderboard at the same time. You can read about the rest of our competitive and ranked changes this season here.

QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS

• Festival Auras Now Trigger on Victory Royale: We’ve heard your calls for Auras! Your equipped Fortnite Festival Aura now plays during your Victory Royale moment in Battle Royale.
• Distance-based transparency: Audio Visualizer icons for gunshots and footsteps now fade based on distance. Close threats stay fully opaque, distant ones go transparent.
• Reduced audio visualizer range for footsteps: Footsteps now surface on the indicator at a shorter range than gunshots, reflecting that footsteps are a close-range cue.
• Ground Rush Goes Global: Ground Rush, the skydiving mechanic introduced last Season for Zero Build, is now active across Build and Zero Build.
• Zero Build Ground Rush Glider Redeploy: Ground Rush now activates from Glider Redeploy states, not just initial drops or launch pads. Thanks for the Zero Build feedback everyone!
• Battle Bus ADS: During the Battle Bus ride into a match, you can now aim down sights (ADS) to get a better view of the map. Also makes pinging and marking your drop site easier.
• New Controller Setting - Tweak Zone: We’ve made a new way to tweak your aim with those tiny stick movements that are normally ignored in a controller’s Dead Zone. When enabled, these movements will move your crosshair directly instead of turning the camera. Perfect for lining up a long shot or turning a body shot into a headshot. Find Tweak Zone Aiming in Controller settings and let us know what you think!
• Updated Storm Times: We've made storm circle timing changes to better pace matches and prevent slow endgames. These timing changes are not in Competitive or Ranked.
  • This change is intended to reduce situations where the number of players remaining in final storm phases is disproportionate to the available play area. As part of this, we're making adjustments to improve match pacing and help games reach a conclusion at a reasonable rate. These changes are designed to achieve that without making the storm feel overly aggressive, while still preserving adequate time during the early and mid game for looting, exploration, and engagement opportunities. Tell us how it feels!

BUG FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

General

• Fixed an issue where the Build/Zero Build toggle might not appear when entering BR or Reload
• Using the right analog stick to rotate Battle Pass cosmetics no longer scrolls through them at the same time after entering the Passes tab with the mouse and keyboard
• Fixed an issue where some Outfits [Barricade, Elite Jules, The Foundation (Reforged) etc.] were missing Style icons, tags, or descriptions in the Locker
• The Ranker's Flourish Emote now displays accurate rank icons and stats
• The Exalted Ice King’s Wrathful and Golden Cold Outfit Styles now properly display the eye effects
• Fixed an issue where Skye’s Golden Agent Outfit Style could appear only partially gold for some players
• Magik’s bangs now appear at their intended length
• The Dark Voyager's leg belts and shoe textures now display properly
• Fixed visible jittering on Doodle-Doo’s crest and wattles
• Buff Perry, Hercules and Vegeta now show the correct sock colors when Kicks are equipped
• Megumi Fushiguro's hair now displays correct shading while moving

 

Gameplay / UI

• Vehicle fuel consumption slightly reduced, base driving speed slightly increased, and boost speed reduced
• Fixed an issue where Door Bashing an open door could sometimes close it on you
• Changing graphics settings no longer causes the whole map to incorrectly appear covered by the Storm
• Fixed a visual issue where the stamina bar could incorrectly appear orange as if the Slap effect was still active
• The Reset Building keybind now properly resets your structures while sprinting
• Fixed an issue where the Enter key could open Text Chat even after being bound to another action
  • The Text Chat keybind can now also be properly changed
• Fixed an issue where friends could sometimes incorrectly appear as Offline in the Social sidebar

PC 

• Re-enabled Ray Tracing on supported Intel video cards using driver version 32.0.101.8737 or newer
• Slightly improved game startup times across PC configurations

Mobile 

• New Automatic Actions
  • When in range, you can now automatically interact with nearby Containers, Ziplines, Ascenders, and revive DBNO players by standing near them
  • Find them under Settings > Touch and Motion > Automatic Actions and let us know your thoughts!
• Turbo Building no longer stops after double-tapping a structure piece while already holding the Place button
• The Quick Bar now reverts correctly in the Vehicle HUD when using weapons or items
• Fixed an issue where the login page could sometimes appear blank and unresponsive on some Android devices until the screen was rotated
