Using OCD as an excuse to cheat on your fiancé is insulting to people who actually struggle with OCD every day without destroying the people around them. Intrusive thoughts are real, but acting on betrayal, lying, and disrespect comes down to character, integrity, and personal choices, not OCD. Now her alcoholism is part of the issue, that’s a separate conversation, but blaming a mental health condition for repeated bad behavior feels more like avoiding accountability than taking responsibility.
