Xabi-Arteta

I know we are all past the Xabi thing now since he got sacked or left, but do you guys think he would have won the league or champions league just like Arteta did now if we gave him enough time to work instead of firing him in January or do you think the relationship with the some of our main players would have not improved to where we they just can’t work with him at all?

Mbappè Arbeloa

I turned off my computer during the 70th minute (it was boring) and i just woke up to see the mbappè quotes. Has he just fully lost it now? Like he sounds like he’s done with the media narratives and everything.

Florentino

He’s actually lost it like never before. He basically called this press conference to curse out the media and flaunt his trophies like we didn’t just go back to back trophy-less seasons 😭😭💔💔. He needs someone to advise him man, this is a bad look on the team especially now with all the drama going on starting with the Valverde fight.

Carlo

I know Carlo’s man management is great (probably the best ever), but his pampering of some of our current squad players is what’s causing us problems now especially with players like vini who only knows of a coach holding his hand instead of being hard on him and the players became overly spoiled because they expect this treatment by every coach. Thoughts?

Toni Kross Statement

I don’t know if anyone has posted about this, but Toni was talking about the Bayern game and about how Luis Enrique subbed out Dembele in the 66th minute and he didn’t complain. He then says “There are some counterexamples to this”. I think he’s taking a shot at the Vini-Xabi substitution that happened in the clàsico in October and most of Vini’s fans are now turning on Kross for making a statement which is very true. I also think if it were Mbappé who did what Vini did and Kross took shots at him for it, Vini’s fanbase would be saying that he’s right and start slandering mbappè for “ruining the dressing room”. I also want to bring up the fans saying that adding mbappè to the dressing room ruined everything for us when it’s clear that we have no leaders anymore compared to 23/24 where we had Nacho, Kroos, or even Luka, who all kept everyone in check compared to now where we have Fede and Carvajal, who are not captain material in my opinion. Fede's reaction to the Tchouaméni situation and Carvajal’s laughing at Trent during the Betis game show that we have a very immature dressing room.
I just want someone to give their opinion on the statement he made and also the whole dressing room situation as a whole .

I feel like everyone is blaming mbappè for everything that’s going on and that’s not to say he isn’t one of the problems because he’s one of the biggest, but the blaming mbappè for everything narrative is lazy and he’s an easy target because he’s one of the biggest stars in the football world. The “we play better without him” narrative is also lazy because we saw this team vs albacete granted it was arbeloa’s first game in charge but we should have still won that game (it was a second division side), what about the Getafe game where we lost at home btw which where i believe that the title charge was over, also the celta game that everyone likes to include in the games we play better without mbappè screenshots, we needed a 94th minute winner or else we would’ve drawn that game. That 4 game stretch from city to atleti is a very small sample size. I also think the arbeloa babying thing stopped now because he knows his job is gone so he can say how he really feels as we can see from the interview after the espanyol game. The reports coming out about the dressing room starts coming out after we win vs a team that hasn’t won since December btw and while some of rumors are definitely true especially with Jude posting the starting lineup and the players posting themselves with vini shows a clear message to who they would rather have. I also think people are only celebrating the win yesterday because vini scored so they run the agendas about how the team plays better without a certain player (which we don’t) the team plays like shit regardless, we only started playing good after gonzalo came on. Speaking of gonzalo, when mbappè was hurt, he barely played and some fans want to run the narrative that mbappè was hold him back when arbeloa clearly didn’t trust him enough. I think this team as a whole has an attitude and ego as if that wasn’t stated before and some players think they’re better than they are. I think the moment a coach tells either vini or mbappè that they need to play second fiddle (something i think xabi tried to do and we saw what happened) one of them will either throw a tantrum or just leave outright because they’re egos can’t handle it. I do think they can both work together but they would have to put their egos aside which is something that won’t happen unless a coach sits them down and tells either one of them to play second fiddle. Florentino also has to take blame in this too because he brought in a left winger when we already have one (came off a bdor campaign) which i think is just bad team building. He just got mbappè for the sake of getting mbappè because we don’t need him. The things that we did need he basically neglected for the mbappè signing like a Toni replacement or more defenders. I also think the whole vacation shit is annoying, tibo was out traveling when he was injured so i don’t get it and people acting like it’s the middle of season when the season is over (we had 5 games left before the espanyol game) and has been since March 2nd when we lost to Getafe, so people are only acting like its a big deal because it’s mbappè and he’s the easiest target to get views. I think mbappè coming here was probably a big mistake for his career because the narrative is gonna be “mbappè came to real madrid and they’ve gone trophyless 2 seasons in a row, while PSG win back to back champions league” and that will hinder his legacy more than anything.
