Best rice recipe - Staub wanabe

Hi Staubers,
What is the best rice and ratio combination?
I have the 16 and 18 cm wanabes, especially to cook a stew for two of us in the 18cm and rice in the 16cm.
My reading and recipe trawling suggests (medium grain-White) AND ratio (1:1) or (1:1.1) rice to water ratio.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had success with rice.

Can you share me your best Staub recipes and tips?

I bought this set of baddies and I want to know all the best things to cook in them. I have previously had non stick plus one Le creuset cast iron pot and have given them away and upgraded to this set up. Can’t wait to love it. Do you heat your oil up slowly? Do you oil it before storing? I don’t want to wreck them!!!
