Hi! I was the one who posted about the possibility of a NON WFOT bachelor graduate for APHRA registration and I realized from all the responses (real life and here) that it is almost impossible for me to take the direct APHRA pathway.

That’s why I’m posting here again to ask for tips about the New Zealand pathway.

Can you please share about the process? What was the timeline? Is there something I need to keep in mind? Just please anything that can help me in taking the right steps 🥺

Has anyone successfully registered with AHPRA from a non WFOT school? I’m not talking about those who did it through the New Zealand pathway, but with AHPRA directly.

Is it possible? And if it is, what did you do?

For context: I have almost 5 years of experience (got my bachelor’s from a non WFOT school) & is currently enrolled in master’s for OT.

I found a direct client and they want me to complete my AHPRA registration ASAP. I need help 😭
