Hi guys,

Ive been diagnosed w AA 6-7 weeks ago and im just on topical. The original spot seems to have been ok (5cm) and stabilized but there are heaps of other spots appearing just around 1 cm.
I am going to the derma soon to get injection. But im curious did anyone not see any regrowth at 7 weeks as well? Im seeing alot of posts where they all have see regrowth at 1 month.

I recently had a blood test my doctor said everything is fine though since reading upon some posts it seems that my ferritin should be higher? these are my current levels

my serum iron is 15
ferritin is 48
vitamin d is 62
do you guys think increasing these levels would help at all with AA?

Hi all,

Ive been diagnosed with AA for a short time now. Im on topical at the moment. At first its just 1-2 area, weeks go by and its spreading to multiple more areas. I had a blood test and all the levels come back fine so we don’t really know whats causing it.
Has anyone been through this? if so how did you manage and how long did it take for your inflammation to calm down and hair to grow back?
