Trump says Reflecting Pool needs more repairs, blames 'terrible Vandals'

Of all the things that never happened, this never happened the most. Trump is so humiliated by the consequences of his abject incompetence, that he's invented a story about how the Reflecting Pool has fallen apart in just a few short days. And the story comes complete with anonymous perpetrators who have been arrested for their vandalism.

Here's what happened. New paint was applied to the bottom and sides of the pool. Then, having restarted dormant water equipment without proper cleaning and maintenance, algae quickly bloomed and took over the pool a matter of hours after its unveiling.

To combat the algae, Trump ordered unqualified parks department workers to pour a super-high concentration of hydrogen peroxide (12%) into the pool. The algae was coming under control, but the peroxide ate away at the paint starting with the weakest areas, resulting in huge sheets of the paint coming free.

Rather than acknowledge that he's a moron who regularly does dumb shit based on his ignorance, Trump decided that it must have been Obama and the Democrats who secretly vandalized the pool out of hatred for Trump and the country. At this point, he seems to have dropped the claim that the Dems did it, but he's still claiming (without evidence) that vandals did it, and that many of them have been arrested (again, without evidence).

If these so called vandals exist, he needs to present them to the world. The police need to release their names and information to the press as they would for any other criminal case. After all, that's information that's legally required to be released. But that's not going to happen. What'll happen is nothing. Trump will move on, believing that he solved the problem, and we'll never again hear any information about the alleged arrestees. We'll never find out who they are, or what their crimes are. It'll be as if it never happened, because it never happened.

Donald Trump Ties Congressional Medal of Honor Around Recipient's Neck After Struggling to Clasp It in Viral Ceremony Moment

Lolololol... This dude can't do anything without being totally ridiculous. He's trying to put the Congressional Medal of Honor on this guy's neck, but his fat sausage fingers have no dexterity, and probably no blood flow, leaving himself with no choice but to tie the ribbon around the guy's neck like it's a choker, with the actual medal resting against his Adam's apple. You just can't take this dude anywhere 🏅😭

Change in payment schedule?

Has anyone seen any notifications that Social Security is changing their benefit payment dates? I just got a Google notice about it and I'm in a panic.

I receive my benefit payment on the 3rd of each month (unless the 3rd falls on Saturday, Sunday or Holiday in which case I receive it on the Friday before). It's been this way since I began receiving benefits back in 2005.

I know some people have a payment date based on their Birthday, but that's never applied to me. The notice I read basically says all payments are going to be based on birthday. This would be a nightmare for me since I rely on my benefits to pay my rent by the 3rd of each month.

I logged into the SSA.gov website to look at my payment schedule, and it clearly states that I receive my payments on the 3rd of each month, and that my next scheduled payment will be in June 3, 2026. So, I don't know if I'm reading this notice wrong, or if the SSA.gov site just hasn't been updated with the new payment dates, or if my circumstances somehow exempt me from this change and I'll continue receiving my benefits in the 3rd as it's always been.

Could someone cast any light in this, or ease my mind about it. I'm terrified of not being able to pay my rent until after the 72hr grace period when I'll be charged a $75 late fee. I've never missed a rent payment in the 13 years I've been here, and I don't want to suddenly become a problem for my landlord due to a change in the benefit pay date.
