Will be in Italy for two weeks in mid September 2027 for two weeks. Visiting Rome, Florence, Venice and Cinque Terre.

I am afraid I will get museum fatigue if I put Rome and Florence back to back, and I want to be “fresh.” Would it be stupid to go from Rome directly to Cinque Terre, then on to Florence then Venice? I know there would be some backtracking, but I am willing to backtrack some, just not a whole day. We are staying 3-4 nights in each.

Trip to Rome Venice Florence and cinque terre—does it matter if I go to cinque terre from Rome then Florence? I am going to Italy mid sept 2027 for two weeks.

I am reluctant to schedule tone and Florence back to back because I want to avoid museum fatigue and be fresh for Florence. We are staying 3-4 nights in each including cinque terre. Would it be incredibly stupid to make a Rome (where we fly in) stay then head over to cinque terre then do Florence and Venice? I think it will be backtracking some, and I’m willing to backtrack, just not a full day extra. Can this be done without it being a waste of time?

Is there any benefit to stay until I’m 60 with 20 years in?

I am getting sick of this administration and its constant search for fraud waste and abuse in federal programs. That has become my full-time job being in social services. I am going to be 57 in November but with just 17 years of service. Do I need 20 years to get my supplemental fers? And if not, is there any benefit to staying beyond 60 when I will have 20 years? Can I collect supplemental then, and how is it calculated? I just don’t know how much longer I can take this and RTO and morale being so low.

Is Catherine better than Ali for 11th Hour?

I have been loving the way she is hosting for Ali. I think he’s too intense for later in the night. She is talented, a good interviewer, and generally just has a better “feel” for 11th Hour.

Where to book tours in Rome?

I am going to Rome in October. I would like to use tours for the Colosseum because I’d like to skip the lines. Should I book directly with the Colosseum? Which kind of tour do you recommend? And should I use a tour for the Vatican too? What are the benefits of tours? Should I book directly or buy a “package” from a 3rd party site?

How fit should I be for a safari?

Considering a safari next year. My husband is in great shape but I am not. I am willing, however, to get myself fitter if necessary. How much walking and getting in and out of large vehicles is there in a Tanzania safari? I am 57 in an office job and sedentary. I am intimidated by the fitness required.

Thinking about OAT bs EF tours. Which is better?

I want to go on a safari for my anniversary and thinking about oat or ef. Big difference is oat stays in tents vs ef staying in lodges. Both similar prices. Which do you prefer and is it better to stay in tents?

I am looking to get fmla to protect my rights. How do I do it? Hr is not answering.

I am just looking to have a later day because I am going off meds and I only get 3 hours sleep. I am looking to come in a bit later because I sleep best after 4 am and I would like to be able to come in at ten. I am struggling to stay awake in the mornings. I have a dr who can attest to it.

Should I keep FEGLI after retirement since my husband has a good job and we have tsp and IRAs?

I’m trying to plan for retirement and I am wondering if I should keep my expensive life insurance. It is $650 a month! And it will reduce my pension greatly. It’s almost as expensive as my health insurance!
