Advice on camping or living out of a car

I’m a 20yo electrician and I’m going to work in Amarillo.

The pay is good but right now I have nothing but my truck and my camping gear. I have been on several, month long trecks in the Rockies and across the u.s.

So I know what to expect when it comes to living out of a tent or vehicle. I will only be doing this for a month til I can afford a place though.

What I do not know is what to expect from the people and local pd.

Where should I stay away from, any local weather info, should I bring an edc kit everywhere like some places.

Not trying to be killed in my sleep lol.

None of my clusters are working random warnings and check engine light but drives the exact same.

All warning related to brake system or tire pressure.

Voltage sits well and doesn’t jump, no blown fuses, and tire speed sensors all have continuity.

Gauge cluster will work for half a second then just go away.
