Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is shutting on September 3

Konami just announced that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls, a mobile game exclusive to Apple Arcade, is shutting down completely. It gets pulled from the store on August 20 and stops working entirely on September 3, even for people who already have it.

No real reason given, just a thank you message to the players.

Anyone here actually played this one?

What's the most money you have spent on a game?

For me it's BGMI. Bought so many crates, outfits, and the royale pass literally every single time without skipping one.

have you ever spent money on a game and regretted it?

It was in Genshin Impact for me. There's a system in the game called "banners" where you spend money to get a chance at pulling a specific character.

I kept spending more and more trying to get one character before the banner ended, telling myself "just one more" many times. Got the character in the end, but I regretted it almost right away.

What's the first game you ever remember playing?

For me it's Temple Run on my mom's phone. Barely understood what I was doing, just kept swiping and somehow getting decent scores. But one still remembers how important it was to get that new high score.

Drop the game you are playing right now

I am currently grinding Marvel Rivals, still figuring out which hero actually fits my playstyle. Curious what everyone else has been on lately.

What's a noob habit you still haven't dropped even after playing for years?

For me its reloading way too early, like the second my mag hits half, even mid fight sometimes. I know its a bad habit and I still do it every single match without thinking : (

Struggling to rank up from Gold in Valo, need some advice

Been stuck in Gold for weeks now. Feels like every time I play well, someone else on my team either throws or doesn't communicate.

Not sure if I should keep solo queuing and hope for better teammates, or if I'm missing something on my own end too.

What’s a game you purchased only because of the trailer, and immediately regretted?

For me its "No Man's Sky." The trailer made it look like a huge, living world of exploring and multiplayer interaction, so I picked it up on the same day without even reading reviews. After playing the game, I regretted doing it.

Which game world would you actually want to live in?

For me it’s Stardew Valley. It’s a small farming town where everything moves slow, no traffic, no rush, just farming, fishing, and talking to your neighbors. Feels like the total opposite of how busy real life gets.
