For those that don’t have Tigerschool certs, how many classes do you teach per week and how many slots do you open?
I open 56 slots per week during peak time and I get anywhere from about 43 to 53 of those slots filled.
Last month, I had:
80 TCELA (L1-3) classes
6 TCELA (L4-7) classes
4 Ready for English classes
This amounts to $630 of base pay and over $150 for the completion bonus.
This is about half of my paycheck.
I’d like to see what happens if I remove Tigerschool certifications and looking for other teachers’ experiences in terms of how many non-Tigerschool slots you open and the average number that get filled.
I welcome your perspective.
Short class! Extend!
Teacher comments in the materials fall into one of four categories. Here they are in order of frequency I see them plus my thoughts.
- Short class! Extend!
Me: Thanks genius. And water is wet.
- Another short class! These materials are awful. Here’s some vague idea you can use to extend.
Me: Umm. Thanks?
- I like to do this specific thing to extend.
Me: Thank you!
- There is a technical error on slide ___. It should be _____.
Me: Thank you!
Weekdays 2pm-4pm Beijing Time Slots
Do you have any experience teaching during these slots that you could share? I’m hoping to get the pre-schoolers.
What happens in a contract review for cancelling too many classes in a contract period?
It’s looking like I’ll be going over the 6 cancellations allowance in this contract period. What happens during the contract review? Please note if you have personal experience with this or if your information is based on something else. Thank you.
