Need help staying motivated with conservative treatments + appreciation post for all of you who are being consistent!

As someone who has recently figured out I have lipedema in the legs and possibly my arms, I want to give a shoutout to all the folks here who have committed to consistent workouts, 10k steps a day, MLD, conservative treatments, and wholesome diets! It is incredibly difficult to find the motivation to wake up everyday, go to work, figure out food, chores etc. and still make time for workouts and other conservative treatments. Just putting on compression leggings takes 15mins :(
So kudos to everyone who is able to keep at it! More power to you!

I’ve been feeling pretty helpless and overwhelmed by this disorder and I struggle to stay consistent with my diets and workouts. Most days I feel useless and give up. Hoping to find more energy and motivation through the summer. 🤞

Post interview waiting

We applied for my GC in Nov 2024 and got the EAD pretty quickly in February 2025 and then radio silence for months. Got the Advance Parole a whole year later in Feb 2026 and then silence again till May when we got called for the interview. Interview went great, and we got a verbal approval too, but haven’t seen any activity for over a month now. The officer told us she was going to be out of office for a week after the interview but asked us to reach out to them if I don’t hear anything in two weeks. Now I’m trying to figure out the best way to reach them because the official page says I can’t reach out yet as case is within normal processing times. Any idea how to put an inquiry in anyway? Our lawyer says to just wait but for how long?!? This is absolutely nerve-wracking.

Recommendations for compression machines

I’m seeing a lot of posts here about people using pneumatic compression machines for their lipedema and lymphatic drainage. Would love to get some recommendations for at home machines that aren’t crazy expensive (I’m pretty certain I have lipedema and also recently got my hEDS diagnosis). Do they really work? Do people really drop a few pounds of fluid weight after using them? And should I look for full leg machines or just the knee high ones?
