To Those That Say Bermuda Is Boring

I will be relocating soon to Bermuda for my partner’s job and I’ve noticed a lot of people saying here that it is boring. Just curious if those people were avid tennis players, pickle ballers, golfers, bikers, or sailors upon arrival? For someone that does enjoy those things, is it still boring? Or are they people that don’t engage in those activities and/or are young, single, looking for nightlife, etc? I don’t think that we will find it boring bc we are active in all of those activities, but maybe it feels boring for those from the US, UK or Canada, regardless? I would love to hear thoughts on this! Thanks

Growing produce

My spouse and I will be relocating to Bermuda soon for his job. I understand that farming isn’t big on the island. I am wondering if it’s possible to do a raised garden box and grow some produce like lettuce, tomatoes, herbs, etc? (Assuming our landlord approves) Is this commonly done? I am not an experienced gardener but would like to give it a try.
