Hi everyone. I'm from Portland, Oregon and I met my partner while on vacation in Bermuda. Now I'm seriously considering moving here to be with him, and I could really use some honest advice from people who actually live here.

It makes emotional sense for me to go, even though I'd be leaving my life, job, and everything familiar behind. But I'm also reluctant because I don't want to be jobless and starting over professionally at this stage, and I worry a few years here could set my career back or take me out of my field entirely. I'm also afraid that life here is just so different from what I know back in the US.

I respect my own hesitations but also feel like I don't know enough to make the right decision. So, to anyone who has moved to Bermuda for a partner, or anyone who's just lived here long term, what do you enjoy, hate, or do daily? Was moving worth it to you? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Im looking to buy a scooter and both World distributors and scootermart have what i want at more or less the same price. Is there a reason to pick one or the other. More importantly, is there a reason to avoid either. Opinions appreciated

My family and I are going on a cruise to Bermuda. We’re trying to find things to do without signing up for the excursions. What are some simple but enjoyable activities to do on the island?? Particularly looking for options that are accessible for people with mobility issues.

Also, looking for recommendations for dining options as we are interested in having a meal on the island as well!

My wife and I are seeking an additional assessment number to allow us to juggle the task of transporting our 3 young children to multiple schools, sports practices, etc. If anyone has any advice on how to gain access to one, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good day! I live and work here and my Mum is coming to visit me for a couple months. I’m wondering if there are any groups or clubs I could get her involved in to meet people and keep her busy while I’m at work. I’ve signed her up for workout classes at Waterfront but if anyone can think of anything else I could get her involved in while she’s here that would be great! She’s really friendly, loves cooking, baking, learning new skills and she’s quite active. Thanks in advance :)

Hi, I was wondering if someone with local knowledge could help.

We are currently staying in the Gibbs Hill area and would like to get to the Railway trail tomorrow to walk along it. Looking on Google maps I cant see any way for us to get there as every walkable road seems to be a dead end.

We have a car and could drive to a starting point, but again, I cant seem to find anywhere on the map where we could park.

If anyone with local knowledge could assist it would be greatly appreciated!!

We always like to volunteer when we travel - mostly as dog walkers for local shelters and rescues or helping with invasive plant removals. Does anyone have any leads? The SPCA shelter looks like they require residency to be a volunteer.
