10.000km service
Just finished the 10,000 km service at 10,141 km. They replaced the oil and filter and adjusted the valves, but the mechanic mentioned the engine was about 500ml low on oil. The valves were a bit loose, which makes me suspect the 1,500 km or 5,000 km services (done by the previous owner at the official dealership) might not have included a proper valve clearance check. I bought the bike with 8200 kilometers on the clock.
The engine was running a bit lean previously, but it’s hard to tell if that’s just because I’m coming from a liquid-cooled Yamaha MT-07. I’m curious to see if this service makes a noticeable difference in how it runs. I'm planning to replace the final drive oil around 12,000–13,000 km and the gearbox oil at 15,000 km. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their V85 TT?
