Is Outdoor Vitals good to go? Specifically I want to get a few t shirts and a lightweight hoodie. I plan to get socks from Darn Tough.
Not sure about shorts/pants yet; haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet. Happy to hear suggestions.
I want to rescind the power of attorney and do the appeal on my own. How do I do this?
Think I saw that someone just called the VA Regional Office and handled it with them?
Wife and I plan to drive around the United States for a full year, mainly the perimeter of the country but when out west, visiting many national parks. The plan is to stay out of the snow and temps below 40.
Is the a good vehicle for such a plan? I’d see us needing to use a 110 outlet with enough frequency to be a potential issue and I’m just scratching the surface here….we were more leaning towards a Sienna at first.
At first glance, it seems like there would be more room to sleep in the VW and if we can pull off the charging, it looks like a real winner!
I got out of the Army (the second time) in 1990 and in my effort to add a claim to my existing 60%, asked for my health records looking for some specific information I know should be there. Nada. Very little was in the packet sent and all of it wholly unhelpful.
There should be loads of info from flight physicals and apparently I was part of some study where they drew blood nearly everyday; my right arm is scarred where they drew the blood, it was done so often. Nurses now can’t use that spot and sadly it’s the best vein I’ve got ;)
I sent an email to the hospital at Fort Rucker asking if they’ve got the records….any other suggestions? Is this an instance where I can/should lean heavily on my personal statement? I certainly remember enough to support my claims anyway.
Apple Watch shows my average is typically about 45 or so; in the past 18 hours it’s gone up to 144, up further to 280, down to 43, up to 147 and down to 14.
I had cardiac rehab today and really got at it fwiw. Hadn’t been in a week due to being out of town and eating real food again and more beers than I should but not crazy.
I’ve been eating clean and only having a glass of wine now and then for about 8 weeks so is this some sort of rebound or maybe the watch is wonky? I feel about the same as always.
I’m in a cardiac rehab class and yesterday, my BP was 135/77 immediately after exercise while I was still slightly out of breath, sweating, etc.
Am I to assume correctly that if I were seated and calm, it might be lower?
