I sometimes think I'm part of the reason my wife isn't vegan
When I first became vegan I had a really hard time accepting that people could know about veganism and not instantly become vegan - you could say I was delusional and pissed a lot of people off, her included
I participated in some pretty stupid disordered eating type diets while vegan - this definitely would have turned people off
If you are a vegan who wants to help the cause, be a likeable, fun, reasonable person. Don't get caught up in stupid diets. And honestly it helps to be very in shape.
