First I have to say that everyone in this group is so absolutely wonderful! Even though we go through this journey, we support eachother! Best feeling ever!

This week, as the divorce became final and I started living in my own place, became pivotal in my life! Each day as I woke up, I felt more and more confident in this situation. Stronger. Free. And as I see my ex throughout the week as we close this chapter in our lives, I thought it would hurt or be very difficult. I was wrong. His presence has zero effect. I'm kind and patient while he literally struts with arrogance. Nothing. It's easy to say goodbye as we cross paths.

I feel like my view of him has shifted. Quite frankly, that's a really good thing. So as all of you go through this journey, yo help you heal, I pray your view shifts too. Sometimes they are not that same person we married. I'm glad I am becoming okay with it.

Loving my new life and letting new paths develop with myself and family. Who knows what's on the horizon. 💜

And just like that, my divorce is finalized as of today.

Infidelity after 18 years of marriage.

I thought I'd be a mess but I actually feel free. So does my ex husband. We had lunch after court today. Talked about our positives of splitting up and went our separate ways.

I'm still finishing up with moving from the other house but not much left finally.

Today ended up being a good day. 🌸
