Anyone around Fay dealing with a dog CCL/ACL tear? Trying out knee braces for my chocolate lab & looking for local vet/rehab recommendations
Wanted to share a quick video of my chocolate lab getting used to her new double rear leg brace harness out on the back deck. She’s been having a rough time with knee/ACL issues recently, so were tryna out conservative management with braces to give her joint support and stability (and help her sit without struggling so much).
It took her a couple of days to get past the why are you putting this weird suit on me phase, but she's starting to move around a lot easier now! Has anyone else in the Fayetteville / Hope Mills / Spring Lake area gone the brace route for a CCL/ACL injury with their dog? Also, I’d love to hear if anyone has recommendations for local vets or rehab/physical therapy in the area that are supportive and experienced with non surgical knee management.
