Trying to find an ep of Criminal Intent: they’re investigating a murder connected to a group of men friends that experienced a murder in their youth, possibly at a prep school? Maybe a drowning? Sound familiar to anyone?

I only saw the episode once and maybe I’m getting some details wrong but hoping this is enough for someone to piece together what I’m talking about?

Thanks!

Just watched “I Call Him Wonder” [s8e28]…raved about it to my Mom, the biggest Gunsmoke fan I know, and she said there was another ep a few seasons later with the same storyline…

…I’m just starting to watch Gunsmoke regularly—watched seasons 1 and 2, then skipped to 7 bc I really wanted to start the hourlong episodes—and wondering: is this something the show did often, repeating storylines in color episodes or was “Wonder” just such a great or popular story that they decided to remake it?

Been reading about how some TV eps are remakes of older radio versions but wasn’t aware of this!

Been watching on Peacock and finding episode titles sometimes don’t match the actual episode! I thought I was watching “The Gallows” [s7e22] but this is definitely not that…

Anyone know which ep title is actually “The Gallows”? It’s an ep both my parents said I should watch.

Thanks.

I’m new and this may have been asked before but: Which defense attorneys do you wish had gotten more appearances?

I wish Lorraine Toussaint as Shambala Green, Patti LuPone as Ruthie Miller, Sandy Duncan as Shelly Kates, and Elaine Stritch as Lainie Stieglitz had appeared more often

(spoiler)Sigh. Every time I hear Patti Lupone’s character Ruthie Miller sarcastically say “tick tock, girl” to Claire, I get sad, knowing what’s going to happen to Claire in the very next episode …

It’s one of the great scenes in the great episode “Homesick” [s6e22] and the conversation about work, motherhood, and feminism is rich and funny and sad all at the same time.

Reminds me how wonderfully written and cast the show once was, and my sadness at Ruthie’s line only reminds me that Claire would never know marriage or motherhood.

I know I sound like a total sentimentalist but I was so invested in these great characters!

RIP Claire

Can anyone explain to me what, exactly, Chief Tynan had against Olivia?

If I’m honest, I’ve gotten pretty distracted during the show a lot this season but for the life of me, it’s never been totally clear what her issue was!

Perhaps I’ve grown dumb over the years but anyone give me a hint?

Haven’t watched in a while and have questions re Vi and Novak [spoiler]

What exactly was Novak’s issue about when Vi told her about Vasquez?

Novak was dating the doctor when they slept together. I don’t recall if Novak had made known a serious interest in Vasquez at that point?

Did Vi feel guilty about sleeping with him or just waiting two months to tell Novak, by which time Novak was done with the doctor and talking openly about liking Vasquez?

Excuse my ignorance if these are obvious questions ! I feel like I haven’t paid as much attention to this season as I have in the past!

I assume they were there for comic relief considering the overall lack of much story propelling the series to its end but wow, I’d forgotten just not compelling they were, given how much time was given to them! lol

Asking bc I noticed for the first time how the servants Downton Abbey are covering up furniture and preparing as if it will be shut down for months!
