FCC2 loan forward Cheikhou Niang to Detroit City FC for the remainder of the 2026 season

Cheikou has 6 goals in 13 starts for FCC2. Loan will allow the club to evaluate the player against better competition. This also opens up minutes at forward for Kristian Fletcher and loanee Martin Vasquez whom the FO will have to make a decision on whether to exercise his purchase option at the end of the season.
