Evander - Brazil National Team?

Watching Brazil this WC and I was wondering whether Evander should be getting an opportunity with his national team?

Not suggesting he's the missing link, but I'm not sure he's wholly out of place on this version of the team. Particularly with Neymar out of the picture. Surely at least some call ups to kick the tires.

Brian Schaefer

I was answering a USL question and took a look at our CB loan to the Rowdies. Brian Schaefer has played 13 matches (frequently 90 min), and that 1st place defense has only allowed 12 goals in 15 matches. I'm sure a great offense helps, but has anyone watched Rowdies matches to see if this is a player we need to be looking at moving back next season? Defending USLC attackers vs MLS ones is obviously different, but the 24-year-old might be hitting his prime.

USA/Belgium Watch Parties

I have been to FCC sponsored parties for the group stage at Rhinegeist and Mad Tree and would say both had decent crowds, but none were overwhelming in terms of the atmosphere.

Has anyone been to the Banks for a watch party yet? I have not heard much or seen much online in terms of the atmosphere there.

I'd love to see something in Cincy that rivals the remote city camera feeds you see during the match (Kansas City, etc.) and the Banks would likely be the best place for that, but I've heard zero buzz about it as a destination for the games.

How my mood has progressed this week while contemplating the transfer window opening in 10 more days and the regular season resuming in less than three weeks

Also 7 days until our international friendly and 22 days until we make that drive up 1-71 for Hell is Real. Anticipation building.....

Any transfer rumors or updates?

Season starts back up in 3 weeks, and we haven’t made a peep in the transfer news other than the Neymar news. Albright said the team wants to make moves this transfer window, but we haven’t heard anything yet. Am I missing something, or are we just changing our minds about making transfers this window?

A recent tribute to Djiby in Senegal, and a remembrance of his tribute to FCC fans in 2017

Djiby was made a 'Son of Diakhou' this past month in his home country. In 2017 after a match in which he scored 4 goals, he deflected praise and instead congratulated you, the fans. Son of Cincinnati?

New 2027-2028 Season Ticket Pricing rolling out

Checked mine (First Financial Club) for a price increase, but looks like it has gone slightly down, unless they are excluding the bonus matches they gave in the past, in which case we have a 6.45% increase.

Combining the sprint season and the next full season is a bit of sticker shock, but we were warned that was coming. For anyone who spreads it out, it may come out similar over time.

Checking my receipts, since TQL was built, prices are for 1 ticket in E5

2021 - $1012.975 /17 = $59.59 a match

2022 - $1012.975 /17 = $59.59 a match (prices were frozen from the prior year)

2023 - $1228.975/17 = $72.29 a match or $64.68 with bonus 2 matches

2024 - $1,468.00/17 = $86.35 a match or $77.26 with bonus 2 matches

2025 - $1,615.00/17 = $95.00 a match or $85 with bonus 2 matches

2026 - $1,767.00/17 = $103.94 a match or $93 with bonus 2 matches

2027-2028 - $2,376/24 = $99 a match (no bonus listed)

7/1 Player appearance at World Cup watch party

Does anyone know which FC Cincinnati player is making an appearance at MadTree’s watch party?

I know the specific players aren’t typically shared in advance… just hoping someone here has the scoop.

Thanks!

Santiago Arias starts for Colombia against Portugal

One of the commentators even mentioned he was formerly of FCC. I don’t know much about him but I’m happy he’s still getting caps for his country.

[Rumor] Stiven Jimenez to a club in Brazil's 2nd Division

Ponte Preta is the second oldest professional club in Brazil. If true, this would likely be a loan. Club is currently in the relegation zone (19th of 20).

What did you guys think of Miles Robinson last night?

I'm an American but don't follow the MLS so I didn't know much about him. SO when I saw he played for the MLS I was happy for him and for the league. I did feel his performance was poor. Poor positioning and defensive discipline, that first goal they cut through us like hot night on butter and Robinson was easily bypassed. Is he better for FC Cincinnati? What did y'all think of how he played?
