After this season of hell that the Reds have had, and especially after that damning article in The Athletic this week, I am just like most Reds fans on this subreddit:
Happy because after today, we do not have to watch any more Cincinnati Reds baseball until Friday February 19,2027 (hopefully),
So goodbye and good riddance to the 2026 Cincinnati Reds season and hope for a better season in 2027 (if there is a 2027 season):

If the Memphis Grizzlies (in the hopefully unlikely event the club relocated to N@$#&#!?e) left Memphis, then the Bluff City would only have high school sports, Memphis Tigers sports, Memphis FC (semi-pro soccer), and Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A) baseball,
And I called Nashville "That Other City" because Nashville sucks and Memphis (despite it's many problems) is the best!
I live in a rural county in Northern Kentucky (south of Cincinnati) with a population of 30000,
Our county used to have passenger railroad & Greyhound bus service, but both of those were discontinued by 1990 or so, well before I was born (21M),
Our county depends on the neighboring county for public transportation (Owen County) for public transportation and you have to schedule it in advance,
Our family lives in the southeast part of the county and we have not have an automobile since one of our brothers were suspended 2 years ago for DUI and has not been able to pay the fee to get it back since,
(This family is also on a fixed income and none of us have a job)
So to those who live in a rural area with no public transportation and do not or no longer have a car to drive, how do you get around?

Now this idea is what the J-League (founded the same year as MLS in 1993*) did for their sprint season ahead to their switch to the fall-to-spring schedule this year:
If a match ended in a draw then it would not end: instead it would go to a penalty shootout in which the winner would get a additional point,
So the points system would be 3 (for a regulation win) 2 (for a penalty shootout win) 1 (for a draw) & 0 (for a regulation loss),

And just like the J-League this would be a temporary format & the 3-1-0 scoring format would return for the first fall-to-spring season in 2027-28,
