Which Is Better, Semmelweis, Charles, Humanitas, San Raffaele Or Cattolica University For Medicine?

I’m trying to compare these universities in terms of:

  • teaching quality
  • clinical experience/hospitals
  • international reputation
  • student life
  • residency opportunities after graduation
  • difficulty of exams
  • overall experience for international students

I’d especially love to hear from current students or graduates. If you had to choose again, which one would you pick and why?

What is the best EU medical university to study in? Currently considering Italy: Humanitas, San Raffaele, Cattolica Czech: Charles Hungary: Semmelweis

Hi, I was wondering which universities would be the best fit for me. I’m an international school student from Japan, and I speak English fluently.

I’m looking for a university located in a modern, efficient, and relatively safe city with a strong international environment and a diverse student population. It’s important to me that the university has a welcoming atmosphere for international students, with professors and staff who genuinely care about students and their learning experience, rather than making students feel like just another number.

I would also like a university with a good student life, opportunities to meet people from different cultural backgrounds, and an overall balanced quality of life.

In the future, I’m considering either returning to Japan or living in Europe, most likely the UK. However, applying to the UK or many other English-speaking countries is financially challenging for me because of the extremely high tuition fees (the weak yen...).

At the same time, attending a Japanese university would also be difficult, since I studied in an IB international school and did not learn subjects like Biology or Chemistry in Japanese.

My long-term goal is to open a private clinic in either Tokyo or a European city. I’m particularly interested in psychiatry, as my father is a psychiatrist in Tokyo, and his work has inspired me greatly.

Which Is Better, Semmelweis, Charles, Humanitas, San Raffaele Or Cattolica University For Medicine?

Hi, I was wondering which universities out of these five would be the best fit for me. I'm an international school student from Japan, and I speak English fluently. I don't have a strict budget, so tuition cost isn't a major concern.
