Concerta does nothing

Has anyone ever only started feeling the benefits of Concerta at very high doses, like 72 mg or higher?

I was on 18 mg, and now I’m on 36 mg, but I still don’t feel anything. At least I’m not having any side effects. No crash either — how would I crash if it’s not working in the first place? 😎

Give me some hope, because methylphenidate XR (Concerta) is basically the only option available in my country.

Flushing and high eyes on Accutane

So this is my sixth month on Accutane, at 140mg daily, 82kg body weight. My acne was mild but I couldn’t bear it anymore, so I started Accutane. Because I am still not clear, I’m doing a higher-than-average daily dose and prolonged therapy.

I don’t have side effects; even my lips got used to it, so they’re not as dry as they were in the first few months.

EXCEPT ONE THAT I REALLY HATE AND CAN’T MASK.

My face decides to flush (cheeks, especially the nose, and above the eyebrows), and with it my eyes immediately go dull and lifeless, and I look like I’m high, even though I’ve never touched narcotics.

The main triggers are heat or embarrassment, and also intense exercise. But what’s worse is that it sometimes happens at completely random times, with no trigger I can identify.

Then all of a sudden — sometimes after an hour, sometimes after 5 hours — it goes back to completely normal, my skin is nice and pale again, and my eyes look normal. Without any intervention on my part, so it fluctuates.

I’m writing this because a few days ago I had to take a drug test, and my car was thoroughly searched by customs officers for illegal substances when I was leaving the country. My eyes looking like I was freaking high made them suspicious. So I realized this is a pretty serious matter.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it? I’ve tried quercetin supplements and antihistamines like cetirizine, rupatadine, etc.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger CC does help for face redness, but I’m male and it looks unnatural — everyone can tell I have something on my skin. Plus I have light eyes, so I look like a ghost with it on, which makes me even more embarrassed.
