Sung Jinwoo [Solo Leveling: Ragnarok] vs Sunless [Shadow Slave] - Shadow Monarch vs Sovereign of Death

Current Sunless vs EOS Ragnarok SJW.

They have pretty comparable kits, and at this point of the story Shadow Slave has reached a similar level to Solo Leveling: Ragnarok so the fight should be well-balanced.

VE applied treating mana as essence and vice versa, fight takes place on a neutral plane of existence.

Round 1 - Armies without commanders face each other. No generals/marshals for SJW's army. No Saint, Slayer, Fiend, Nightmare, Mimic, Serpent, or Vile for Sunny's Army.

Round 2 - Army commanders face each other.

Round 3 - Sung Jinwoo and Sunny face each other. No Prep.

Round 4 - Sung Jinwoo and Sunny face each other with armies and commanders by their side.

[SHADOW SLAVE] Where does this scale? Multiversal - Outerversal?

Honestly, I don't consider myself entirely knowledgable on the qualifying and disqualifying factors for Outerversal scaling, mostly using my knowledge of other series I have seen scaled to H1-A.

Obvious spoiler warning, very recent chapter spoiler warning.

THE ORIGIN

In Shadow Slave, there is a Void that is everchanging and exists in a state devoid of concepts to thwart it, so to combat it the gods of the verse, void beings, created Universal Laws to bind existence and used things such as Nothingness to separate themselves from it.

"The next few murals depicted the battles between the six radiant figures and the vague shapes hiding in the darkness of the abyssal void. Sunny found them quite funny… he already knew that the war between the gods and the unknown were waged with weapons like death, time, and space. It had truly been a war beyond human comprehension...

Desire, direction… order… the absolute laws like time and space that the gods had created to use as weapons.

Did it mean that the gods had created the world… the universe, rather… by sealing the void in the cage of universal laws?

And if this was how the world had been born…" Chapter 1386

[What can contain the Void?

Nothing can.

Gods used nothing to envelop the void, and placed the cage of desire above it.

In the places where the cage is thin, nothing slips through its seams. The Underworld is one such place, shrouded in nothing.

It is like mist.

However…

Nobody can exist in the mist.

Nothing can contain the Void, and nobody exists within it.

I am wary of nobody, and fear nothing.] Chapter 1752

Important thing to understand, the gods DID NOT WIN, in fact one of them literally got left behind to "die". The Void did not lose to time, space, and all these other concepts. It was purely used as a way to oppose the void and create a space separate from it.

UNIVERSAL CONCEPTS

In Shadow Slave, there is Will, which is basically a reality bending force of nature expressing oneself unto the world, and as one gets higher in rank it gets stronger. When reaching Transcendent/Corrupted mundane things largely don't affect you, Supreme/Great will can be expressed with intent on the world to ensure your actions and negate others, and when reaching Sacred/Cursed it becomes a concept that you embody, then when finally reaching Divine/Unholy rank it grows so outrageously large that you can only be referred to as a realm/universe of yourself.

PROOF OF CONCEPTUAL NATURE

"Sunny had not fought a lot of Cursed Nightmare Creatures just yet, but he already suspected that each of them embodied some kind of concept — or at least wielded one as a weapon.

The Snow Worm, Abundance, was the easiest example. The name Sunny had given it was also its essence. That Cursed Beast had used the concept of infinity to make itself inexhaustible, indestructible, and inevitable… until it had met an inglorious end by Sunny's hand." Chapter 2361

PROOF OF SIZE

"Instead, a universe of appalling Corruption made its nest in the flawlessly white bones, animating them with a profane semblance of life." Chapter 3110

PROOF OF SEPARATE SPACE-TIME

One important thing to consider is that the entire Waking World, which is our universe, is one of these gods corpses. "Actually… currently, my people are at war. With each other. Have I mentioned that the last Divine Realm is the Realm of War God?"

There also is the Tomb of Ariel, a place created from the corpse of an Unholy Titan, the body creating the boundary, and its blood creating a flow of time inside the corpse completely separate from the outside world. "The best way I can explain it is like this — the Great River does indeed flow from the future into the past, but that is only in relation to the outside world. Here, this kind of time is no different from space. However, the River still has a past, a present, and a future in relation to itself. Here, this kind of time is just like the time of the Outside." Chapter 1292

MULTIVERSAL

Pretty simple, the Shadow God ensures death to all beings as a Universal Law, including the other gods. He takes their shades and dissolves them inside himself. Even his corpse still keeps that going.

OPPOSING TIME AND SPACE

I know creating time-spaces and these overarching concepts is not an argument for surpassing time and space, so I just wanted to throw in some feats of characters weaker than Divine/Unholy status opposing the laws of time and space. I can provide more if anyone asks, but this post is already taking a long time so... bleh.

This is the part where I am shaky on where everyone scales, because they oppose the laws of time and space, and some concepts are antithetical to time/space, but there are no good feats from any Divine/Unholy or Void Beings yet, just lower ranked beings.

SPACE

"As it did, the world itself seemed to crumple and shrink, the space folding on itself as the Cursed Demon tore through. Sunny felt it in his bones — an alien, violent presence invading his Domain, its boundless ferocity pushing against the brittle walls of his authority, making them rattle and crack." Chapter 2361

TIME

"Even now, the Puppeteer was only keeping itself alive by slowing down the flow of time to such a crawl that it seemed to stand still. But interfering with an absolute law to this degree was an unbearable burden even for a being like the eerie moth… it would not be able to hold time still for very long, let alone indefinitely." Chapter 2407

[You have offered yourself as a sacrifice to the gods.]

[The gods are dead, and can not hear you.]

[Your soul bears the mark of divinity.]

[You are a temple slave.]

[Shadow God stirs in his eternal slumber.]

[He sends a blessing from beyond the grave.]

[Child of Shadows, receive your blessing!] Chapter 2855

EVEN HIGHER STATE OF EXISTENCE

The gods became a special existence over time, after splitting their flame countless times to create life in their new realms, they became supermassive representations of themselves, losing individuality and only operating through avatars. The only beings capable of facing them in combat being the Daemons, which themselves are avatars of another god.

"The gods... the gods were younger, once. But by the time the daemons rose against them in rebellion, they were old. They had wasted too much of themselves, becoming too vast and too great to resemble living beings. They barely possessed any personhood anymore, slowly turning into elemental forces. So, they could only retain their agency by limiting themselves to the confines of a mortal vessel — of an avatar." Chapter 2855

INACCESSIBLE

"Gods are not like us people, boy. They don't really have bodies, souls, and Soul Seas… it's all the same. So no, we are not inside the Soul Sea of Shadow God."

The white skull chuckled.

"Instead, we are simply inside Shadow God. Shadow Realm is his corpse." Chapter 2123

It is impossible for a mortal to face a god, even in battles with Sacred/Cursed beings it is necessary to face it with a concept supported by will instead of with physical force.

FATE

This is where I think it becomes a realistic case for outerversal.

"Not only that, but Weaver had also described fate as a force that existed beyond and above time. Therefore...

Sunny felt a headache.

Therefore, from the cosmic perspective of fate, the future could never be changed. Because the future was never a vague expanse of potentials and possibilities — it was not something that was yet to happen. Instead, it had already happened... had always happened, and was therefore set in stone. It was a fact.

Since fate existed above time and fused the past, the present, and the future into a single, eternal, immutable fact — or perhaps a process that was both endless and instantaneous, but irrespectively finished and complete — it naturally couldn't be changed.

...Only it could." Chapter 3107

Fate is explicitly beyond time and existed prior to the concept of time being created by the gods as a weapon, yet characters like the Sun God, Weaver, and Vile Thieving Bird are capable of affecting it, but only mildly. The story is also shaping up for the main character to re-weave it with his newfound power when he becomes a Divine.

"There was one glaring, fundamental difference between the weave of the Nightmare Spell and the weaves of Memories and Echoes it and Sunny created. It was that Memories were woven out of essence string, while the Nightmare Spell... The Nightmare Spell was woven out of Strings of Fate.

Sunny had already gained the ability to touch the Strings of Fate, and he could even glimpse knowledge from them — however, that ability of his was both rudimentary and perilous.

So, logically, that was what [The Weave] had to have granted him...

A greater capacity to manipulate the Strings of Fate." Chapter 3109

PROBLEMS

There is not a single thing touching on dimensionality in the novel. There just isn't. Various feats and statements about exceeding the possibilities of the known universe, being separate from the "mundane", and obvious geometric necessities for things to be of higher dimensionality, but it is never verbatim said.

I just do not know if this is a necessity given the other information about inaccessibility, conceptual nature, influence of fate, and other points.

PERSONAL INTERPRETATION

Fate - H1-A

Void - H1-A

Gods - 1-A to H1-A

Divine/Unholy in general - From 3-A to Low 2-C

TL:DR Shadow Slave has some good arguments for outerversal for top-tiers and verse in general, but this is my first time trying to scale something to this level and idk if I did it right. Hoping anyone can provide input.

SK Yhwach (No Almighty) vs Royal Guard

Honestly I just feel like bro's way too Almighty reliant, and given the leaks with Orihime keeping up with him, the gap between him and his crew seems much smaller.

Could any take him on 1v1? How many would be necessary to beat him 1v#? Could he clear the list?

No Auswahlen ez win button, because that's boring. Also, this is before the final auswahlen, because duh he wins after he takes all of their power back into himself.
