I got notice from IT. Any action do i need to do?

Dear Taxpayer, Processing of return filed under ACK No 497119390xxxxx AY 2025-26 is pending due to certain discrepancies. Kindly check your email and submit response through e-Filing portal. ITDCPC.

In terms of Section 115BAC(6), the option to opt out of the new tax regime by filling Form 10IEA is available only to assessees having business or profession income. Since the assessee does not have income under the head "business or profession", the said option to opt out is not available and consequently, the assessee is liable to be taxed under the new tax regime as per Section 115BAC.
