I have grown up and known many men who were victims of sa and many types of abuse. It breaks my heart how many of them were ignored and not believed.

I honestly think the worst part is that nobody truly believed them. Many of them had their lives ruined and never got any type of justice.

When they went to authorities they were not believed. Even now there is not really a framework to help men. Why is this?

I would like to ask the women on here how could you help men? What type of reforms could you bring?

My idea is that there needs to be crisis centers for male victims of rape. Just for men. Also domestic shelters for male victims of domestic violence.

Thoughts?

I have seen this in almost all spaces. But mens worth it seems always tied to his height. Which many times height means looks.

Why is this? Even with people that believe gender is a social construct and body shaming is bad. Yet they mock and place men's worth on height.
