Am I wrong for filing a police report on my boyfriend?
Long story short, I met a guy. He was charming we had a great relationship. Mid you he was in prison.
He’s out now and he’s changed since being home. He act like he doesn’t like me.
Long story shorter, he put me in a chokehold. Then not even 3 weeks later he full blown choked me and made me lose consciousness. I been contemplating rather I should call the police because I don’t want to ruin his life, but he just got out of prison for strangulation!!! Then on top of it all he’s justifying what he did and has no remorse saying “when I say stfu you need to be a lady and stfu” mind you, I’m very respect and the punishment DEFINITELY didn’t match the crime.
And before he actuallly choked me, he said “let me show you what type of ngga you fckin with”, then pulled over in an abandoned parking lot and let me have it.
I haven’t spoken to him he hasn’t spoken to me but part of me feels like h cannot get away with this. But the other part of me doesn’t want to ruin his life as he’s already been to prison 5 times. Plus, he’s still in parole.
Please help me yall. I took pics of the bruises around my neck and everything so I do have evidence, as this happened 3 days ago.
