Amel Mukhtar was the author of the British Vogue interview, where she described the 3 songs that Olivia let her hear. She commented on Olivia’s post, saying she’s been waiting for ‘the cure’. Note that she previously said that her favorite of the three songs that she heard was the last song Olivia played her, the dancier, experimental track, with an orchestral ending. She said the song was about how love won’t fix you!
“The final song is about that realisation: love won’t fix you. It’s dancier, the most experimental I’ve ever heard her. The orchestral end catches me off-guard and it’s so beautiful in this setting it almost brings me to tears. It’s my favourite of the three. Avoiding her eyes, I scribble down “Love!!” and “So pretty” (two underlines). It’s “what I think being in love feels like”, she says. ‘You’re getting to the core of all of your issues: how you feel about yourself, your insecurities, what makes you joyful. It feels like the most raw form of you, which is so scary and terrifying and uncomfortable, sometimes, but beautiful at times.’”

‘the cure’ is explicit, which means Olivia came back to her roots lol. ‘drop dead’ wasn’t explicit. Of course this isn’t something huge but I mean it’s still a small detail that’s kinda interesting to me. Let me know what you think and if you like the fact that it’s explicit, don’t like the fact that it’s explicit, or just simply don’t care lmao.
As you can see, her instagram profile shows 25 posts, but if you count the posts, she has 22 (at least for me). This is a 3 post difference. This might indicate a scheduled post, which would mean that there is a high chance that the second single announcement is actually this week!!

We officially have 26 days until the release of ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’, so I thought why not have a countdown in the form of a standoff between Olivia’s discography (SOUR+GUTS(spilled)+CCMN+All I Want+The Rose Song). Personally, an album’s tracklist is one of my favorite parts of the anticipation. The tracklist for GUTS was teased on July 31 and revealed on August 1, which was about 38-39 days before the release. As of right now, we’re 37 days away from the release of sad girl in love. I’m just way too excited for the tracklist, so I’m curious to know when you guys think we’ll get it!
