Ah shit here we go again
Hey guys,
As you know I recently got a Strix G16 5070ti, unfortunately the laptop auto shutdown as soon as opened any game after 5 minutes.
So, I tried reaching out to Vijay Sales, but they said Asus' gonna help etc.
Finally, I drafted an escalation mail to the Vijay Sales HQ. Surprise surprise, within an hour I received a call from the outlet saying that they'll either replace or refund my money, whichever I want.
Unfortunately, they didn't have another unit available, so I told them to give me a Zephyrus (5070ti) in return, for which they asked for 30k extra.
After thinking it through, I took the deal and now I've a thin and light laptop for the first time haha.
Full disclosure, the Strix was a display piece with 86% battery, and about 6 months old. The Zephyrus was seal packed so that was a deal maker.
Effective cost for this entire deal (post card offers) came out to be ₹2.3L. I can finally carry my laptop around without any back pain, so feels like a huge W.
TLDR: Got a new Zephyrus instead of my Strix by paying 30k extra
