Apocalyptic storyline bc of intellectual property issues? (Speculation)
I was thinking about reports and articles explaining how difficult it was to make the Spiderman movies a reality because of the legal discussions between Disney and Sony about the rights to Spiderman and other Marvel characters. And that made me wonder: does Netflix own some of the IP/streaming rights for all ATLA related content? Subsequently, do you guys think that could have played a large role in the creators' choice for an apocalyptic narrative in Seven Heavens? I was thinking it could have been their solution to create a more clean slate going forward (minimal references to the characters and world of ATLA) and avoid legal discussions with Netflix. And if so, do you think they'll avoid cameos from spirits etc from ATLA in Seven Havens? (EDITED bc I am horrible at structering my thoughts coherently)
