Ahh shi here we go again
Hopefully the northside gets spared this time.
Be safe and hopefully lots of thunder and lightning tonight, hopefully not a supercell storm

Just sharing this beautiful moment. This church was built in 2006. I almost never see modern church building with stained glass windows, due to the rise of minimalism I assume. When I moved to this church 3yrs ago, I was surprised they have 10 of these huge stained glass windows depicting Jesus' life journey. The service hall is facing North, so it has 5 stained glass windows facing east, 5 stained glass windows facing west. Every morning around 7-8am the hall is flooded in the most beautiful morning light through the stained glass windows that's facing east. We never turn on the lights for morning service because sunlight is bright enough to lit the whole room. Then every afternoon around 4-5pm, the orange glow of the sun before sunset (5.30pm here) shines through the west windows (on the video). I took this around 4pm today when we were preparing for the last Sunday service.
I'm not gonna lie, while we don't need all these extra artsy decor in a place of worship, seeing the light through these beautiful windows make me feel extra awed and reverent to God. Don't ask me why, I don't know why I feel so either. It's the same feeling I get whenever I look at the blue sky, night sky full of stars, nature (mountains, beaches, sand dunes, etc.); how beautiful all the things God has created. I'm a designer myself so maybe it's the artsy side of me that admires God's beautiful creations and longs to see more beautiful things humans make for God lol.
