Anyone else always grip the disc in the same exact spot every time?

I basically always grip with the stamp facing up, or right at the same parting line of the duo stamp, etc.
Anyone else do something similar? Or are you random?

Shoutout Huke!

Just wanted to shoutout Huke. Feel like he’s always kind of left out. Huke is so important to this optic team. Optic could all just be First team all star. His comms are always goated!

Innova Halo Star Fox @ 168 grams is Super flippy

I really like the feel, look, and flight of the halo star fox. It's 5/6/-2/1. But at 168 grams it seems very light and it seems to really flip over HARD for me. I kind of want to try it at a heavier weight. 176 or 181 are options on the site I'm looking at. Will that make it less flippy but keep that nice lofty glide and flow it has?

Hard because I really want to try it out, but don't also want to waste money getting another disc that's the same.

Note: I only want Halo Star plastic

Form Advice | Beginner: I've been playing for 1.5 months

How do I improve my form and overall skill in the sport?

Video included shows about 8 shots from my round today. I've been playing for about 1.5 months. Hoping for some advice. I've watched a good amount of YT videos on tips, and after filming myself I see a bunch of stuff that's not ideal. For reference: On a good throw I can throw driver about 300-375 feet ish. My usual miss is just throwing it all over the place haha: early release left and pushy, late release to the right, throwing it too high. Not too often do I throw it too low. I usually get par's and bogey's. Around 5-12 over at my local course which I'd say is pretty tough and lots of trees.

Please don't trash me haha, I know it's not great and have a lot I need to improve on.

I listed the discs thrown in the videos.

I've been playing disc golf for exactly 1 month now. Kind of hooked. I've played a full round about +/-3 times a week since starting. And I've been throwing at open fields for practice a decent amount as well. Watching lots of Youtube vids too. early 30's male. naturally kind of athletic and well versed in many sports.

My first round was 21 over par. Now I have bought more discs, and yesterday I shot 2 over par at my local 19 hole course. Total length (19 holes): ~5,243 feet. Approx 275-280 feet average per hole. Was pretty stoked on the score. I played legit. with mandos and OB. Only 1 Ob. And hit all the mandos. Made all my putts. I threw multiple discs for practice, but always took my first throw as the official one.

Disc golf is awesome. Any tips, advice, or just general feedback/discussion is welcomed
