Chicago, Illinois

From Jamaica to Chicago 🇯🇲 → 🇺🇸

When I left Jamaica, I had two choices: Miami or Chicago.

I spent my first two years in Miami, but I often visited family in Chicago. Those visits slowly started feeling like home, and I knew this was where I wanted to be.

So I made Chicago home.

This city played a big role in my love for photography—the architecture, skyline, neighborhoods, lakefront, and everyday moments you might otherwise miss.

I’ve carried my camera around the world, but a lot of what inspired me to pick one up was right here.

After sharing so many travel memories, it felt right to finally turn the camera toward home.

Paris, France (1st set)

Paris is one of those places where you can walk around for hours with no real plan and still find something worth photographing. These are a few shots from wandering around Paris. Still going through years of travel photos and finally giving some of them a place outside of my memory cards. Hope you enjoy seeing Paris through my lens.

Catacombs of Paris

An entirely different city, right beneath Paris. Under famous monuments and cafés. Walking through the Catacombs definitely makes you feel disconnected from the world above.

Tips on attending Day of the Dead in Mexico city

I'm planning a trip to Mexico City for the Day of the Dead parade and festivities. What areas are best to stay for Airbnbs or hotels? Also, what are some of the more important things to do and see that most people overlook? Thanks in advance.

Venice, Italy(Final shots)

Final upload of my Venice, Italy captures. I uploaded the first set in a different subreddit group. Someone said it didn't seem romantic enough. Hopefully, this displays a little bit more of that.

Lausanne/Montreux, Switzerland

These are my final images of Switzerland from my DSLR captures. I posted the first batch in a different subreddit group. These are the last few remaining I've been holding onto for years. I'm glad I can finally share these with others.

Venice, Italy

I finally decided to share some of my DSLR shots from Venice, Italy. These have been sitting on my memory cards for years, unseen by anyone but me. Every photo is a real moment I experienced while getting lost in the canals, wandering quiet alleyways before sunrise, and watching the city come alive.

Feels kinda strange finally letting these images out into the world. Hope they capture even a fraction of the atmosphere and beauty that makes Venice unlike anywhere else. Also, I'd love to hear which shot is your favorite and answer any travel questions you may have as well.

Alsace, France(Strasbourg, Colmar, Riquewihr)

I finally got around to sorting through my photos from Alsace, France, and wanted to share a few favorites. These were taken in Colmar, Strasbourg, and the beautiful village of Riquewihr.

Alsace completely exceeded my expectations. The colorful half-timbered houses, flower-filled canals, cobblestone streets, vineyards, and blend of French and German architecture made it feel like walking through a storybook. Every corner seemed worth photographing.

I'd love to hear which photo is your favorite or if you've visited Alsace yourself. Any hidden gems I should check out the next time I'm there?

Traveling around Lausanne and Montreux Switzerland

Spent a few days exploring Lausanne and Montreux, and I completely understand why people fall in love with this part of Switzerland. From the steep streets of Lausanne overlooking Lake Geneva to the peaceful lakeside promenade in Montreux, every corner felt like a postcard.

These are some of my favorite shots from the trip, all taken on my DSLR. I tried to capture the atmosphere as much as the scenery—the changing light on the lake, the architecture, and the mountains in the background.

I'd love to hear which photo is your favorite, and if you've been to this region, what spot stood out the most to you.
