The Gamer's Declaration of Ownership
NEGOTIATIONS ARE OVER!!!!!!
THIS IS A DECLARATION OF WAR!!!!!
We are GAMERS!
Watchers of the Wall in the True North!
Defenders of GameStop Haven!
Guardians of the sacred Right of Ownership!
Keepers of the physical disc!
Protectors of the ancient cartridges!
Defenders of the shelves where our collections stand as monuments to battles won, worlds explored, and countless hours gloriously lost.
We do not merely purchase games.
WE OWN THEM!
And we shall stand against any force that dares turn ownership into permission, collections into temporary licenses, and our treasured libraries into something that can vanish with the flick of a server switch.
We have negotiated.......
We have waited..........
We have watched...............
But now........................................
NEGOTIATIONS ARE OVER!

Raise the controllers!
Dust off the discs!
Fortify the shelves!
For today, we do not fight merely for ourselves.
WE FIGHT FOR THE BACKLOG!
WE FIGHT FOR OWNERSHIP!
WE FIGHT FOR EVERY GAME WE BOUGHT AND STILL HAVEN'T PLAYED!
And let this proclamation echo beyond the realm of gaming.
To every other industry on the front—hear these words and take heed.
For this campaign did not begin today.
It has been prepared methodically for years.
Its battlefield is not merely games, but the very idea of ownership itself.
Today it is a game.
Tomorrow it is your music.
Your films.
Your books.
Your art.
Your automobile.
Your 3D printer.
Your software.
Your devices.
And, piece by piece, every possession that still answers to the word "mine."

A strange doctrine has spread through the halls of corporations—a philosophy that seeks to replace ownership with perpetual permission, customers with subscribers, collections with temporary access.
Marching in lockstep, they chant the same ominous refrain:
"You should own nothing, and be happy."

Tell the Maester of Crows to open every rookery. Let every raven take flight, carrying this message with the Will of Fire blazing in its heart.
Send word to every pirate whose heart is already racing at the thought of raising the Straw Hat flag.
- To every Helldiver who survived the fires of Malevelon Creek, and whose boots still itch to deploy once more against the relentless march of the Sony Login Corpobots
- To every shinobi secretly searching the closet for that old Konoha forehead protector, convinced the Fourth Great Ninja War was merely training for this moment.
- To every hunter awaiting their next quest.
- To every alchemist seeking equivalent exchange.
- To every World of Warcraft veteran who called a temporary truce—Alliance and Horde alike—to gather in the cinema for the Warcraft movie, back when shouting "FOR THE ALLIANCE!" and "FOR THE HORDE!" echoed with the excitement of a shared adventure.
- To every Bethesda fan who still remembers the Way of the Thu'um, who can still hear FUS RO DAH! in their soul while carefully preparing the Power Armor for the battles ahead.
- To every Halo player that still hears the words..."Finish the Fight." Who remembers when the M6D Magnum was less a sidearm than a declaration of superiority, and the Sniper Rifle could settle an argument from across the map.
- To every Vault Dweller.
- Every Dragonborn.
- Every Nerevarine.
- Every Lone Wanderer.
- Every Courier.
- Every Commander.
- Every Space Marine.
- Every Pokémon Trainer.
- Every Tarnished.
- Every Guardian.
- Every Tenno.
- Every Hunter.
- Every Spartan.
- Every Doom Slayer.
- Every Monster Hunter.
- Every adventurer who has ever refused to quit after seeing... GAME OVER.
Message them that….
Today, the quest is not for loot.
Not for experience.
Not for achievements.
Not for cosmetics.
Today, the quest is for something far more legendary!
THE RIGHT TO TRULY OWN THE WORLDS WE LOVE!

At once!
Release the ravens!
Open every rookery!
Saddle every horse!
Light every beacon!
Raise every banner!
Ring every town bell!
Let every raven bear this proclamation with the Will of Fire blazing within its heart.
For the Wall of the True North must never stand alone!
Send word to every Maester, that knowledge still serves the realm.
- To every Master of Laws, who remembers that justice exists to defend the people, not merely the powerful.
- To every Master Craftsman whose work still bears the mark of pride.
- To every Keeper of the Halls, especially the legendary steward who, through sheer willpower and an abundance of duct tape, mysteriously keeps the Titanfall 2 servers alive.
- To every Innkeeper and Serving Hand, greeting weary travelers with a smile despite the burdens they carry.
- To every Master Builder, forging tomorrow's world with yesterday's tools.
- To every Bard, Artisan, Painter, Sculptor, and Scribe, whose imagination knows no bounds, yet is too often commanded to draw only straight lines while passion yields to profit.
- And to every man and woman laboring from dawn until dusk, serving two masters simply to keep bread upon the table.
- Carry this message to every castle.
- Every village.
- Every hold.
- Every crossroads.
- Every hearth.
- For the hour has come.
- For the banners have been called.
And let every soul who hears these words remember...
WINTER IS COMING!

Raise your pints!
Raise your voices!
And let every tavern, every hall, every keep, and every hearth echo with this oath:
WE BELIEVE that when a person purchases a creation, they deserve more than a fleeting privilege.
- WE BELIEVE THAT PRESERVATION MATTERS!
- WE BELIEVE THAT COLLECTIONS MATTER!
- WE BELIEVE THAT OWNERSHIP IS MORE THAN A LICENSE AGREEMENT!
- WE BELIEVE that what is honestly purchased should remain honestly owned.
- WE REJECT THE NOTION THAT "BUYING ISN'T OWNING."
- WE BELIEVE THAT IF YOU BUY IT, YOU SHOULD OWN IT!
And if the day should ever come when ownership itself is forgotten...
Then remember this old saying:
"If buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing."
May no honest creator ever be forced into such a world, for our cause has never been to deny creators their due. It has always been to defend the simple principle that what is honestly purchased should remain honestly owned.
This is not merely the cry of gamers! It is the cry of every free man and every free woman who values the simple dignity of owning what they have rightfully earned.

Spread the word, for if the Wall of the True North should ever fall, let no realm, no guild, and no industry believe itself beyond the reach of this wicked philosophy.
Today the battle concerns games.
Tomorrow, it may concern something you cherish.
Do not remain comfortable upon the sidelines.
Stand! Speak! Write! Debate! Teach! Preserve!
Teach every generation the difference between owning and merely renting.
Defend the principle that what is lawfully purchased should remain lawfully owned.
For a free society is strengthened when its people can own, preserve, repair, archive, and pass down what they have honestly earned, not merely borrow it at another's pleasure.
Carry this message to every school...
Every university... Every convention..
Every game studio... Every dinner table...
Every legislature... Every podcast...
And every place where the future of ownership will be decided! Let every institution that shapes tomorrow hear one message, loud enough to shake every hall of power.
TRUE OWNERSHIP MATTERS!

Let this day be remembered as the day we all stood together—not merely for a hobby, but for a principle!
To Sony Entertainment, and to any corporation, publisher, or institution contemplating the same path, we leave these final words... We know the Sony we once admired began to fade the moment players were no longer seen as customers, but merely as consumers.
What now scratches at the Wall of the True North is not the legend we remember, but a hollow shell, a White Walker of its former self, animated by an ideology that values perpetual access over genuine ownership, subscriptions over collections, and licenses over legacy.
If any spark of the old spirit yet remains...If any voice within still remembers the joy of placing a disc into a console, opening a collector's edition, or building a library that could be passed from one generation to the next... Then hear this message…….
It is not your legacy we wage war against. It is not the generations of developers whose passion built unforgettable worlds. It is not the artists, musicians, programmers, designers, writers, testers, and dreamers whose work inspired millions. It is the ideology that has replaced the customer with the consumer and should that ideology prove beyond redemption, then we shall lay this lingering shell to rest, not with swords or fire, but by withholding our support, preserving what we cherish, and choosing a better path.
From its ashes we shall raise a monument, not in celebration, but as a warning to all who would walk the same road. A monument to affirm that purchasing should mean ownership and that physical and digital collections alike are treasures worthy of preservation.
That customers are, and always shall be, the custodians of gaming history—not merely temporary license holders. That the value of a collection is measured not by the medium on which it resides, but by the freedom to truly own, preserve, and pass it on.
A monument so that every publisher, every corporation, every steward of this industry, and every other industry that would follow the same path, shall remember that no empire is too great to fall when it forgets the people who built it.
Let it stand as an example for generations to come: loyalty cannot be demanded, ownership cannot be replaced, and customers must never be reduced to mere consumers.
Together, we shall hope that, one day, the spirit that built those memories finds its way home again. For no company is entitled to our loyalty. Loyalty, like trust, must be earned.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
Now is the time to march together! Not as an angry mob, but as free customers! Collectors! Preservationists! Creators! Players!
As one!
- We shall not be distracted by the gleam of the next blockbuster... (...cough... cough... GTA VI... Call of Duty... Trojan Horse... cough... cough...)
- We shall not trade principle for hype!
- We shall not be divided by exclusives!
- We shall not mistake convenience for ownership!
And we shall remember that every independent studio, every passionate developer, and every creator deserves to thrive—not to become an unwilling shield in a battle over ownership.
The road before us may be long. The victory we seek may not come tomorrow. It may not come this year, but neither shall our resolve.
- We shall endure.
- We shall persevere.
- We shall continue to speak.
- We shall continue to preserve.
- We shall continue to support those who respect ownership.
- We shall continue until purchasing once again means ownership.
Until customers are no longer reduced to mere consumers!
Until future generations inherit the same freedom to own, preserve, collect, and pass on the things they love!
- We shall not yield!
- We shall not surrender!
- We shall not quit until we have won!
And when that day finally comes, let history record not that we fought for games alone, but that we fought for the simple principle that what is honestly purchased should remain honestly owned.

Raise your voices!
Shield your minds!
Sharpen your resolve!
Ready your war cry!
And let every console, every PC, every handheld, every arcade cabinet, every LAN party, every game store, and every shelf filled with discs echo with one final cry:
THE TRUE NORTH REMEMBERS!
For Ownership!
For Preservation!
FOR FREEDOM!
