Best all-around bass baitcaster for srp canals and lower salt river bank fishing.

I recently moved to Arizona and I’m thinking about getting a nicer new bass setup.

Right now, I have a medium Daiwa Aird X spinning rod with a Daiwa Crossfire reel that was given to me and I mostly throw Keitech paddle tails, Senkos and jerkbaits on it.

I’m looking for an all-around baitcaster that I can use as my main setup for SRP canals and the Lower Salt River. Something that can throw a good variety of lures and still handle some of the lighter stuff I usually throw on spinning gear.

I’ve been looking at pairing a Daiwa Tatula XT rod with a Tatula SV TW reel, but I’m not sure whether to go Medium or Medium Heavy, or whether the 70 or 100 reel size would be better. I’ve heard that keeping lure profiles on the smaller side is pretty important in Arizona, so I’d really appreciate some help choosing the right setup. If there’s a better setup you’d recommend, I’d love to hear it!!
