I am sitting in a hotel room 20 minutes away from an esteemed (ha) SDA institution of higher learning. Hint: Without trees and the I-94 I could see Lake Michigan. Hubs still works for a large company in the area and we generally take a trip back for the company picnic when time permits. We have changed so much since our first stint in the area 30+ years ago. Coming from So Cal we were positively heathens for wearing rings and swimming in the lake on Sabbath. Now, we are absolutely 'lost.' How have you changed since you left Adventism? How are you celebrating your Saturday freedom this week?
