I have never watched Panchayat and Gram Chikitsalay or for many other web series for that matter ( please don't judge me ..I am avid ITV lover but now it has disappointed me a lot so trying out new things) ..I want to know if they both are part of same universe ? or are there any web series which create universe type situations like we have in film ..I love universe type things in films or series
Since Team is producing new show altogether , can you suggest some crime shows of old dd or foreign shows through which it can take inspiration ? ..Also give some premise , platform too

I feel Indian Film Industry is only experimenting with different genres but they don't have sufficient actor pool
Indian Television Industry has good actors but it is stuck with saas bahu genres
Now Indian OTT Industry has become middle ground in this - they are giving chance to actors but they are mostly trying only Murder , Criminal , Thriller , aur proper Youth based show ...mostly bold shows
Hardly except TVF now a days good family shows are coming ...
I feel like Indian Television should explore more genres which can have longer show with good story ..like Ancient India Stories , Multigenerational Stories like Surviving Partition , then riots and now this or Proper INA formation story ..... And Web Series should explore old school romance too ... At most TV episodes must wrap it up in 250-300 episodes like Katha Ankahee or KRPKAB
..... On a side note ...I have tiny flicker of hope on Dice Media entering TV with Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar ... I feel like film ph and Web Series ph should enter TV too ..remember YRF had good Television shows , SLB entered with Saraswatichandra etc ....
