Is this 2002 Ford Econoline E150 Van worth it?
I came across this 2002 Ford Econoline van with 161,100 miles on it at my local auto shop. I’m looking for something that can haul 5+ people daily, 3 large dogs, and the occasional long road trip.
The condition seems pretty good. A little rust on top near the tailgate light, the back bumper seems new as there is a dent on the left side behind it, there’s a couple knicks in the windshield, and the back passenger door has some paint chipping and a dent. Mostly just cosmetic on the exterior; the interior seemed well maintained.
I don’t know anything about the previous owner(s) or where it came from. Please see pictures and help me decide if this van is worth it! The last pic is all the details on the auto shop’s website.
I plan on counteroffering what they’re currently asking. They’re asking $5,958 for it. What do the people of Reddit think?
