My Shares ISA account was put on a 24-hour close-only mode.
I can't buy shares during that day because they are reviewing my account activity. I can only sell which I don't want to do because I plan to hold my current share picks for at least 1 year, if not many years.
They're not happy with my account activity because it doesn't "align with my financial means". They also warn that if I continue, I risk additional trading beaks.
To address this I edited my financial status to reflect my current income range. When I first opened the account I was earning less. I now earn more but I also invest more. I am also considering opening another Shares ISA account if they continue to impose these restrictions.
Is there anything else I can do? I'm hoping the restriction will lift by Monday but who's to say it won't continue especially because I don't plan on changing my investing activity.
