Any feedback on SH scars?

Obviously I'm aware they'll never fully go away, and I'm fine with it, but has anyone had any luck with making bumpy scars that are either self harm or similar type less noticeable? Maybe just a little flatter, or more faded? They're very old (10+ years) so fully faded, just quite bumpy and I was wondering if microneedling could help, since it can help with stretch marks to a degree.

I Googled some pictures and found some that looked good, but also saw some comments here that it made them worse.

Anyone actually tried it/knows someone and has some experience, positive or negative?

Thanks! :)

First microneedling session advice

Hi all. I just got my Dr pen m8s today, and I was really looking forward to my first session. I was excited to go full in straight away, maybe practise on my belly stretch marks etc first just to get the movement right.

Now I'm thinking though - would you recommend a lighter first session or a "patch test"? I'm wondering if for the first time I should do the whole face but at minimal depth, or should I just do a small part of my cheek/neck first to see how my skin reacts?

I never had microneedling done but I had IPL and some other lasers, and the lady did want to do microneedling next, I just couldn't afford it lol.

Thanks!

Just got called fat, feels like a huge mental step back.

Hello all, I haven't posted in a while but I'm pretty bummed, thought maybe some of you might relate, or cheer me up.

I started my journey around October 2024, got on MJ Jan 2025. I'm still on it, now down 50kg - 127kg to 77kg today. I was obese my entire life, regardless of trying many diets, exercises etc, for the first time in my life being a healthy weight is looking realistic. I have so much more confidence. I wear baby tees, dresses, skirts... I'm not scared to stand in the bath lol.

Anyway, today I was leaving my house, when a kid shouted "hello there fat lady!" and you know what? It hurt a lot lol. I don't get offended easily, especially as the kid himself is the shape of a dumpling so I'd imagine gets bullied in school and is just salty, but idk. It made me feel like I'm so much better, and yet after nearly 2 years of hard work (I changed my entire lifestyle, approach to food, excercise etc) I'm still seen as a "fatty". My friends and people at work compliment me all the time, because they know what I used to look like, but this was just a stranger who saw a random person and thought they were fat.
