My PH location is now charging employees $5 for losing/forgetting their badge
just when i thought it couldn't get any worse than the unpaid ride along I did as a contractor. Thank God I found a better full time job

I have a clean criminal record however I have experienced homelessness and been through a lot. I put my current address as the one I have in the state I currently live in to keep it honest and not have them think I'm "lying", but the conditional offer I received is out-of-state. I don't know if they sent me the conditional offer based on the assumption I live nearby currently. I don't remember if I put my old address on the non background check portion of the application or my current one. But I do know that on the actual background check part I put everything accurately. I'm a former package handler in the same warehouse I just got hired at before I moved.
I drive a Ground box truck and there's a van that does a similar route as me. According to managers A bunch of packages that were supposed to go to the van went to my work area instead. When I got to work I had way more stops than usual (usually I have 80-105 stops, today I thought i was about to have 130.)
The FL packages were not labeled FL.
But the team lead and managers told me to just grab a bunch of stops with small packages and transfer them to the van before we leave. I did that but I was careful not to just grab random packages, I made sure every package for each stop was accounted for when transferring, but since there weren't unique SSID's this was way too tedious. Transferred all my express pkgs except the noon ones.
The guy who drove that van was about to break down in tears before we even dispatched.
On my route, all the 1-2000's and some of the 3000's are in the middle of nowhere, and 5-10 minutes between each stop. and then once you get to the late 3's/early 4's, you get into the faster neighborhoods. I managed to finish all the country routes and I was at 47/95 stops at like 2pm. Now usually by 2pm I have more stops done but my truck was fucked. The most frustrating part was I had these HUGE 1 and 2000 country FL's in the back, and I forgot they were FL's because again they weren't labeled. So as I was finishing up the 4000's my team lead called and told me he was gonna have me stop and transfer 10 stops to another box truck driver who finished at like 3pm because he only had 63 stops. I quickly found those big "missing" FL's, delivered them, and then met the other driver in a neighborhood and shaved off some stops with him. He was really cool and he helped train me.
I have gotten a lot better at this job since I first started. As a former warehouse package handler who did 50 hour weeks, it's nice to see both sides of the spectrum here, and the people in this subreddit are hilarious with the stories.
Anyway, I'm driving the van tomorrow, so it's gonna be a nice change of pace for a Saturday! I have only driven the van once since I became a driver 2 months ago and it was a lot easier than the truck. And the AC actually worked the whole time, instead of only on the highway
I have worked at two different locations, two different states. I loved being a PH full time in my first location and I also enjoy being a newbie driver to an extent but there are some personal reasons I might need a backup plan in case I can't be a driver. I'm hoping filling out this PH application will not alert my contractor or make him wanna fire me?
It was a long country driveway I was delivering an FL. The goat had no problem getting up but it didn't wanna get down. It seemed afraid to step down. I had to pick it up. There were like two other goats walking around the driveway and chickens. No one was home. It didn't even look like they had a farm they were just walking in the driveway.
