How to Get a Scholarship (Master's in Artificial Intelligence) in Australia from Egypt

Hello,

I’m a recent computer engineering graduate.

My GPA is 2.97 (it’s almost a “Very Good,” but it’s actually a “Good”) — I graduated in 2025.

I’ve observed and developed about 40% of the skills needed for good research (using Zotero and some note-taking techniques, even writing my first research paper—I’ve taken some steps toward my goal).

I will do my best to write a research paper for my bachelor’s degree to improve my academic record, which will make it easier for me to apply to a master’s program in artificial intelligence.

Is it difficult to get a scholarship given all these details?

Do you have any advice?

Thanks for your time

Is it permissible to publish a research paper both on arXiv and in a Springer journal?

I am a recent graduate in Computer Engineering with a strong interest in artificial intelligence. I have discussed academic publishing with a colleague who has previously published with Springer; however, I would like to seek further clarification from the wider research community.

Is it permissible to publish the same research work both on arXiv and in a Springer journal (or another peer-reviewed journal)? Alternatively, is it more common or preferable to publish exclusively in a journal such as Springer?

I would greatly appreciate guidance from experienced researchers, particularly regarding best practices and a clear comparison between these publishing options.

Thank you very much for your time and insights.

(I intend to keep a record of this post as a personal reference and revisit it in the future to reflect on my progress as a researcher.)

AI in IT

Vishal Sikka, the former CEO of Infosys, has launched a new startup called Hang Ten Systems that aims to disrupt the traditional IT services industry using AI.

For decades, IT services companies made money by outsourcing software customization, integration, and maintenance. Sikka believes AI agents and automation can now do much of this work, changing how enterprise software is built and operated.

Key points:

Hang Ten Systems raised $32M in seed funding, led by Mayfield, with strategic backing from Aramco Ventures.

The startup focuses on AI-driven software delivery, using agentic code generation, reusable AI skills, and deep domain expertise.

Unlike traditional IT services that scale with headcount, Hang Ten claims its model scales with AI leverage, meaning each project makes the system smarter and more efficient.

It already has enterprise customers like Siemens Gamesa and Fresenius, despite being only a month old.

This comes amid a broader debate: Will AI expand IT services or disrupt them entirely?

Traditional players like Infosys say AI could grow the market to $300–$400B by 2030, while analysts warn AI may hurt classic services firms first.

Big picture:

Hang Ten represents a shift from people-based IT services to AI-native delivery models. If it works, it could fundamentally change how enterprise IT services are priced, delivered, and scaled

Question To get benefits from my time and my life

Hi friends,

I am a 24-year-old programmer from Egypt. I used to consume a lot of content (especially social media), and I get too distracted by ideas.

I always say I have a lot of ideas, but distractions make me not use them in a proper way. I want to become a better person over time and develop a meaningful, disciplined approach towards my goals.

I used to have many ideas in programming, but I didn’t execute them well because I spend more time on my phone than actually coding.

My life feels worse recently because of many things. The biggest issue is that I have time, but I still end up without a job that uses my time in something meaningful that earns money and builds experience on my resume (especially because of AI and fewer human opportunities).

Now I am searching for friends to do cold outreach with, but I still need an MVP for projects first. Then I want to build an AI lead generation software that can scrape leads, talk to them, and find opportunities to earn money.

I earned my bachelor degree in computer engineering, but I also spent about 1 year at home unemployed after graduation.

I am thinking I should travel abroad, but it is still very hard because I don’t have money (I am Egyptian and the economic situation is difficult).

Now I am also thinking about making a published research paper and applying for an MSc in AI.

As you can see, I am very distracted with my ideas, and I only proceed a little on each one, which results in small tangible outcomes in everything instead of focusing on one thing properly.

I need advice from experienced people who can change my life perspective. I know improvement is cumulative, and I believe different people here can give different useful perspectives.

I feel like in my country many people also struggle financially and need improvement, same as me, but the difference is:

I have tons of ideas but low action + low financials + low capabilities = low outcome

Thanks if you read all of that.
