What allowed Kayle to be a DPS carry back in the day?

The main reason I was drawn to Kayle was that I really loved the idea of an auto attacker that does magic damage but sadly nowadays she is more of a burst mage type of character. Howeveri I have heard that in the past she actually played like a DPS carry. Now I am curious as to what enabled her to be a DPS character in the past compared to now? Is it just the old riftmaker? Or was she a DPS champ even without it?

How to play Teemo top matchup?

I started to go up against Teemo quite a lot nowadays and got mixed results. If the enemy Teemo deosn't not what they are doing I can have a good game but whenever the Teemo knows how to zone me and manage waves etc. I seem to struggle. It feels like the skill check of the match up is on the Teemo side, meaning it depends on Teemo's abilities more than it depends on my abilities. I don't really know if this is true, it just feels like it. So, I would like your help on this match up.

How to play in lane and to know if I did good in lane?

Hey guys! I am silver and want to improve. I have watched high elo streamers and tried to learn about the laning phase and macro. But I am having trouble applying what I learned I guess. When they play Kayle even if they don't get solokills they still have good cs compared to their opponent. But when I play it I play too passive and fall behind in cs. One of my friends who is higher elo than me also said this. For example today I played against a tahm kench top. He would poke me with his q and w me whenever I got out of tower range to approach the minions. What should I look out for to not fall behind? Also, what are the indicators of a good laning phase? Having even cs?
