ADHD and Antihistamine

The podcast is a Danish podcast and they were discussing taking antihistamine as a way to help the body relax from the stress the body goes through when having ADHD.

I was very surprised when listening to this that allergy pills could have such large positive outcomes on people with ADHD.

Anyone else look into this or know about this? Maybe I am just late to the antihistamine party?

I felt heard

This video Dave explains things that just hit home for me - he said “This “ Masking is the process of acting more neurotypical than you naturally are.

And l've done it for decades, and I'm doing it right now. It can help you fit in, but it also burns energy that could have gone into the work.

That is the bargain many of us make. We spend our best thinking trying to look normal.

Then everybody wonders why they're not getting our best thinking.”

Anyone lose weight? I am asking because I need to lose weight but find this almost an impossible tasks.

I have read all the books, seen all the videos and this one thing has been my nemesis all my dam life. I have lost weight before just to gain it all back.

I realise my impulsivity makes this particular area harder, yet it shouldn’t be an excuse to putting on weight that never seems to come off.
