Sycamore canyon jane doe 1995
Authorities in Arizona have been trying to identify a Jane Doe who was found nearly 20 years ago. AMW aired the case in 1999 and 2001.
On Aug 14, 1995, a mountain climber who was on a canyon trail 10 miles from Clarkdale, Arizona found the skeletal remains of a white female, age 25-40 who was at or close to nine-months into a pregnancy. She was found near the top of of a knife-edged ridge several hundred miles up the trail. That portion of the trail is difficult for the average hiker, let alone someone who is at or near full-term in her pregnancy. No vehicle was located near the start of the trail.
There are some clues that may help in identifying her. She was determined to have died between the summer of 1994 and Feburary 1995. No cause of death was ever determined, but homicide is likely. A one-piece swimsuit was found near the body in a tree. She was also wearing a pair of solar shield sunglasses. In 1996, a clay reconstruction of the victim's skull was created.
Why no doe network or unidentified wiki page? it's weird... only a page of amwfs...
